Yum yum yummy!!
is there an english menu?
Everything looked so fresh and delicious!!
I loved this video, I will totally have to go there when I visit Japan💕
Planning a trip to Japan in March, I have been binge watching your videos, you guys are great, so joyful to watch. I am staying near Roppongi, is there an isakaya you recommend in that area or near?
isn't supposed to be all you can drink for 2 hours?
I'm bralizian and I love your videos you're so cute.
You look like Jackie chan
Thanks for another great video! 😘
Just discovered this video. Love izakaya food. What is the correct pronunciation…I ZA ka ya or i za KA ya? I've heard you (and many others) say it both ways but I always thought it was i ZA ka ya.
This is a very fascinating video. I go to an Izakaya a friend of mine from Nagoya opened in San Diego, so I am familiar, but the menus mixed with my lack of Japanese (though I am learning) has kept me from trying these places out on previous visits because I let myself get intimidated. I hope next time I visit Japan I get to go!
thank you so much! im writing something set in an izakaya and i wanted to make sure i got all the facts right
When I'm in Japan it is beer and yakitori for me. I can get sushi back home in taiwan. I want ice cold draught and skewered meat.
I work in the food industry especially food photo and tasting. This clip really move me..thank you.
The rice ball with miso grilled look so delicious, all the items looked so good as well. Give it try in Izakaya! Thanks. 🙂
I don't drink any alcohol and you showed us some non alcohol things. But i can't read any japanese, what should i do? Or can the stuff explain me the menu?
Yep, Satoshi 1st things 1st. Bring the beer! & that's how I eat my sashimi too. 👍
Nice. I was at first afraid to go to an Izakaya because I feared not beeing understood. But thanks to you I lost some of that fear.
Lol you guys are healthy I would got the chicken skin lol
Never mix wasabi with soy sauce, Im told.
Very bad form.
Eat exactly as shown, and the fish should always be placed against the tongue.
Japan is calling me.
Thanks guys!
Love your videos.
Very interesting and informative vlog. Great stuff the crispy chicken looked delicious
1:26 – I love the random Japanese chatter in the background lol
Shinichi: "We got some yakitori"
Random person in the background: "UEH?"
priceless
Im hungry.
They must have a refrigerated cave underneath the pub to keep all those food ingredients and drinks.
I guess my Izakaya tastes are very different but other than edamame I've never had any of these at an Izakaya except yakitori, although some of them I have had in other settings. But then again I often try some more unusual things like aged miso tofu (better than you'd think) and thinly sliced oxtongue (excellent) and then mostly things I don't remember exactly as I had progressed further down the Sake menu trying each ':-D. To me Izakaya are for a bit of adventure so I often pick stuff I don't know and then wait to see what it is they actually bring lol. Only thing is it's fairly expensive ($100pp) but if you can swing that, you'll have a great evening.
Japanese pub dining sound yummie enjoy
That’s how I use wasabi too! It’s amazing! I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. Are places like this east to go to if you only know English though?
