New York City 4K HDR – Manhattan & Brooklyn – Driving Downtown



Friday night drive around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Made for high end 75″+ HDR TV’s [4K60P 422 10Bit 200Mbp+]. Continuing to test new cameras. Looks noisy to me? Straight out of camera to see how YouTube processes and plays on large HDR TV’s. OLED TV are best for HDR content. Took a short 26 months to figure out how to film with these new high end cameras! The stability is the hard part! Think wide range of natural colors (up to 1 billion color combinations) and high clarity in dark shadows and bright white highlights.

Manhattan is the most densely populated of New York City’s 5 boroughs. It’s mostly made up of Manhattan Island, bounded by the Hudson, East and Harlem rivers. Among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers, it’s the heart of “the Big Apple.” Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building, neon-lit Times Square and the theaters of Broadway.

    Your channel has been an inspiration. I wonder if youtube's vp9 codec would be cleaner if you converted it yourself rather than mastering through the upload, unless you already do! Looks like GH5S footage, can't imagine how you're stabilizing haha.

    I live in the province in a developing country.. I've seen small cities with small buildings but not actual cities with huge buildings.. I was 20 when I first saw the capital on the way to visit someone. It felt like a spiritual experience looking at the towering skyscrapers and city lights.. I just thought, "Wow, humans really built this and some people live in this place. Damn.".. The people in the bus look at me weird because I was too excited looking at the buildings and taking pictures.. We live in a low class country so I can only imagine what cities on a high class country like the US would look like.. I really want to go to new york just to see what it's like.
