This is the first video in a series where I’ll be taking you with me across the former Soviet countries by the Baltic sea. This first video starts in Vilnius, Lithuania, where I’m looking around the city before venturing out west to the small town of Elektrenai.
Elektrenai is one of the newest towns in Lithuania, built by the Soviets in order to house the workers at the power plant nearby. They also built an adventure park complete with a rollercoaster that is now abandoned and awaiting demolition. I went there to explore what was left of the control room and the park that is now closed for good due to safety concerns.
The trip ends in Elektrenai, but in the next video we are going to Kaunas. Please consider subscribing to support me doing all those videos. Thanks for watching!
