This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

  1. What time of the day do you shoot these videos? I noticed the pools and the lawns were empty and you did mention the resort was almost full. Please do include the menus, I do like looking them up for future trips.

  2. Ох. Боже как красиво! Фиджи просто сказка. Какое разнообоащие фрктов.. Территория гулять и гулять. Хорошего отдыха вам!

  3. Great work as always, Kevin! Please do keep the menus. We know they may change, but at least it'll give us a glimpse of what they could possibly offer.

  4. Marriott and their business travelers have probably been inspired by “It works! The Famous Little Red Book” and used the name for their soaps 😂🤓 clever really

  5. Fiji giving Hawaii a run for their money it seems!! Good to know and so grateful to see Fiji featured 🎉 Hawaii is way too comfortable, time to shake it up 🌺

  6. I’d booked Momi Bay for New Years and I’m even more excited to go now!

I’ll add that I like having the menus in video and the music for this one was great 👌

  7. Always enjoy the menus even if l have to screen shot and enlarge to read, gives us a feel of the food within the resort. Fiji has never been on my bucket list and despite you showcasing this beautiful resort its still not. 👍

  8. Please don't watch this video on a Mobile phone, you won't do justice on how beautifully it has been shot in 4k, watched on my 4k TV and loved every shot, and yes please keep the menus.

  9. Great review! Please keep the menus. The place looks nice, but wouldn't be to my taste. The lagoon and the atmosphere around it feels quite fake. I feel this could be a chain resort anywhere in the world. Is the whole lagoon built for the hotel?

  10. I love the addition of the menus. I've been binging on your videos this last week. Such a refreshing and honest approach to reviewing. I would bet that in a year's time your subscriptions will have grown ten-fold. Thank you for taking us to these amazing places.

  11. Curious about the water quality in the lagoon. The channel to the ocean is relatively small and off to one side. Wondering how often the water in the lagoon turns over, and if it seems at all stagnant. I know it is obviously salt water, not fresh water, but enough people, suntan lotion, etc. into the same water at some point it won't be so fresh.

  12. Can u do ShangriLa Hotel Tokyo? This hotel opened in 2009. I stayed there in summer 2019 and I really enjoyed it. It is one of the pricier 5 star hotel and the price really matched the service and quality. The service is very elegant and the architecture is elegant and grand from the public areas and elevators to the room. Elevators have a chandelier in them and a beautiful cab. The lobby is very beautiful and high end top tier luxury feel that meets expectations. The entrance on the first floor has a little boutique run by the hotel that sells luxury watches and jewelry near the elevators that take u up to the 28 floor lobby. Even tho the hotel is over 10 yrs old, the timelessness grand design helps keep it modern without the feeling of new. Breakfast buffet concept is a bit weird as the buffet itself is really small and u order the main course made to order from a menu separately all in one price. The food from the buffet and the menu are both high quality and worth the high price tag. The lobby lounge has some really high quality food even tho it’s expensive, the price is well worth it. The wonton noodle soup my party ordered have excellent quality and decent quantity. The other food (which I forgot) I had from the lobby lounge is also high quality and well worth the price tag. The service in the entire hotel is good from the front desk, restaurants, and housekeeping. It’s the most luxurious hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. I highly recommend u try this out if u go back to Tokyo.

  13. Keep the menus. And you do it properly, a snap of the menu rather than a pan.

  14. Renaissance Phuket has some buildings located right by a small lagoon, but the water is blackish green not blue. BTW, next time you visit Thailand, please try visiting Khao Lak. I think the JW and Devasom there will be worth your time.

  15. The Absolute BEST reviewer on YouTube. Honest, Well Documented, not at all annoying and best of all NOT SPONSORED! keep up the Good work!… and the Menus! Helps a lot with Budgeting!

  16. Great video. I am planning a trip to Figi soon and this was very informative. One thing I noticed is the lack of guests. Where are all the guests? This place looks deserted.

  17. You are right about the inconsistency of some properties
I visited the JW in Mauritius which was downgraded from a St. Regis and yet it felt as if it should be downgraded a bit more to a standard Marriott
Great place though you should check it out

  18. I like to have a nosey at the menus – just to work out what it might cost overall to stay at the resort – but it's not a deal breaker

  19. Estuvimos con mi esposo una semana en este hermoso resort, quedamos maravillado con todo, pero especialmente su gente , son todos muy amables y te hacen sentir como reina.
Me sentí en un paraíso 😊

  20. It will still be lovely to see the menu of the restaurants, Kelvin.

  21. Menus are very useful but they are hard to read. Keep up the good work.

  22. Perfect timing. We are going in two weeks. I’m going to try and upgrade from the over the water bure to the oceanfront

  23. Laughed at the second mortgage for water. I agree it's ridiculous the amount charged for water. I think in light of the environment all hotels should have filtered cold water fill stations free of charge so you can refill your water bottles.

  24. We have watched a few of your reviews, and generally find them ok, but have a real issue with this one. We stayed there in June 2023, in an Ocean View Bure, struggle to get to four star. One wall in the bathroom was all glass, frosted for privacy, but as it faced East, let all the light in early in the morning. Ok, fine just close the door, but it too was glass, with gaps above & below. So you cannot have a dark room to sleep in, btw, all the switches light up, so “ambient light” floods the room.
The food at the restaurants was ok, however, service was so poor. Meals missed, or wrong meals bought. Often we were forgotten, and had to ask to have our order taken. Frequently during our 7 night stay, parts of the menu were not available.. Room servicing was a joke. It was a lottery if the room was done, and we had to ask for towels, as they took them, just didn’t replace them. I wont even go into the check in hassles we had, but as a “sorry” were invited on a sunset cruise. This was great, but when we asked around, everyone on the cruise was a complimentary l sorry” cruise. Probably says something about the service levels.
