今回は、石狩市の日本海に面した「石狩湾」を紹介。
北海道中西部、小樽市や石狩市などが面する、日本海につづく湾。
札幌圏と各地とを結ぶ海上物流拠点の役割を担っており、湾奥部の海岸は砂浜が広がって、海水浴場も多い。
また増毛に向かって抜ける道をオロロンラインと呼び、夕日がキレイに見えるスポットとして人気。
冬はオオワシやキタキツネなどもみることができるエリアです。
