  2. I am proud of you Gabriel, thank you for your videos as you bring me fond memories of Greece. I have been away from my homeland over 60 years and yet my heart has never left.

  3. Too bad dolmadakia wasnt served along with yogurt as it should be on a hot summer day. Ikaria is famous about their festivals and dances while "Ikariotikos" meaning "from Ikaria" carries a significant communal value and its danced all over the islands in many occations. If it happens that you see/learn that one of those festivals taking place you will regreat it if you miss it.

  4. The name of last island you called literally in persian mean penis and vaginas lol love to my yunani friends, we call the Greece( Yunnan )

  5. If you knew each story-history from every place you step on in all those islands ur mind will be blowing to the stars…make more research if u interesting and try communicate with the locals…may old ones dont know english but always u will find some younger for translation for clues. Keep on rockin' in the free world Gabriel!

  6. I would appreciate it if tourists were able to treat churches as places of worship, not "attractions", no matter how picturesque they are. It is quite disturbing to witness such callousness.

  7. Pastitsio is a traditional Greek dish, but the recipe with the besamel sauce was the invention of the Greek chef Tselementes and is a staple of Greek cuisine ever since.

  8. Gabriel, Henninger, the maker of Kaiser pilsner, was a German brewery …..it had subsidiaries in Argentina, Italy, Spain, Greece, and the US ……the mother company in Germany doesn't exist anymore …..but the former subsidiary in Greece is still in business (Henninger Hellas S.A.)
