  1. Spending on $100 a day on vacation really takes away from the true potential….its like going to Vegas on a budget of $50/day; the experience wont nearly be the same as $500/day, which is what the experience is built on.

  2. I just want to say as someone brand new to your channel, not really new, but fairly new we appreciate your content very much and we are so very like you! We are looking forward to traveling like you guys more

  3. Thanks for making videos that have realistic travel options!! I’m so tired of seeing something cool/fun, but it costs hundreds of $ for 1 person. 😩

  4. Love this series. Thanks for showing this and sharing your experience. Hope you bump into you guys on my travels!

  5. We really enjoy traveling with you guys how ever you want to do it on what ever budget. You guys find some great experience and not so great😁😁 but your honest about it and that's why we watch. You guys keep doing your thing it's beautiful 👍👍 ya know you put 100 YouTubers on a luxury train and you'll get 5 different videos, you put 100 YouTubers in Fukuoka with a limited budget and you'll get a 100 different videos. We definitely would like to catch a baseball game in Japan, don't know about the ramen place. How great to reunite with friends!

  6. Soooo overr those flying 1st class around the world youtube vlogs.. You guys are far more A) Interesting and B) realistic .. Love your Japan vlogs. Am a little bias as i live here but hey 😉

  7. Am loving your real travel $100 a day vlogs. It is more realistic for many of us especially those outside the USA who can’t really travel hack. Thanks

  8. Just got back from Japan and loved every minute, i used your videos for inspiration went to Asakusa/Nikko/Koyoto/Hiroshima/Miajima island (yes had the 1000 year tea thanks to you) thanks for the great content and emails you send me really appreciate it Lisa and Josh. ❤

  9. Thank you for making this video. It was a good reminder of what Fukuoka was like and that I should take my husband and son there when we go back to Japan. Your friend described it so well and really its more laid back.

  10. Oh, great…now I've got to figure out how to fit Fukuoka into my upcoming trip to Japan. 😉 I don't know what it is about watching Lisa eat, but the grace in which she takes that first bite makes my mouth water every time!

This series is perfect for me, because i usually spend about 3 days in a city when traveling through a country.. I have all but given up watching the "private train across India" channel, because, well, why?

  11. TeamLab! I went to the one in Osaka — twice — and loved it so much I left wondering why every major city in the world doesn't have its own TeamLab experience. It's just such a magical space. Can't stress this enough — if you are in Japan and are in a city that has a TeamLabs, go and buy a ticket and enjoy. You won't regret it.

  12. Awesome 👏
I enjoyed your video!! I have been to Osaka and Kyoto and I think your friend is right about the speed of people walking there is slower than the Osaka and Kyoto which mean is more relaxing to me!! 😊

  13. Been following your travels for some time now and wanted to thank you for sharing all the unique, fun and budget friendly places for us to try. I'm amazed how you two always manage to find these cute and hidden gems without any guidance from Google etc. Looking forward to your next adventure!

  14. I was there a couple weeks ago and the Softhawks game we bought tickets for was cancelled because of the monsoon even though its in a dome. Really cool town. If you go back, you have to check out the Nanzoin reclining Buddah and surrounding waterfalls and temples bout 40 minute train outside of town. Very impressive.

  15. `#$~#~~~~The Japanese side invented the term "treated water" and repeatedly publicized that the concentration of tritium is not abnormal, creating an illusion that nuclear-contaminated water contains only tritium and the concentration of tritium is up to the standard, so nuclear-contaminated water is safe. society.
"In fact, the composition of Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water is complex. Even after purification, it still contains dozens of radioactive nuclides such as carbon-14, cobalt-60, strontium-90, iodine-129, and cesium-137. Disappearance of nuclear radionuclides in nuclear polluted water.
Three years later, the United States and Canada on the other side of the Pacific Ocean will be affected by nuclear pollution, and 10 years later it will spread to the global ocean.

  17. Team Labs has a place in Fukuoka?! Thanks for sharing. I may have to check it out later this month. 😊

  18. I wish you showed us the meal from the yatai stall, maybe next time ?

  19. Can I give you an advice as a Foreign Resident of Fukuoka? It seems that you took the subway at least 3 times within a day…in that case, it’s cheaper to get the subway day pass for 640JpY sold at all the machines in the station.

And next time you really want budget eats and drink in Fukuoka, let me know. For example: I know where you can drink unlimited alcohol drinks for 3 hours for about 12USD.

  20. Your assessment of American baseball games is 100% right lol looking forward to a game in Japan this fall! What does their season typically look like???

  21. Very good video on Fukuoka ! Well done ! BUT ! Flip flops and bare feet in a Japanese restaurant was a total faux pas ! Please don’t do that again, I know you’re on a budget, but you don’t have to dress like a homeless person in a nice restaurant overseas.

  22. God this makes me want to rush back to Japan – and Fukuoka, never been! I completely agree that this more "realistic" kind of travel content is really needed and matches so well with how many people travel. What's better than a convenience store breakfast in Japan?? Loved it!

  23. I’m new to your channel, but I wanted to say that I love that you made a video about Fukuoka! And that you mentioned it being pretty underrated but (perhaps) up and coming. I’ve lived there so it has a special place in my heart, but whenever I give the advice to those planning a trip to Japan, there are many others saying it’s not worth visiting (especially in a Facebook group for travel trips to Japan). Which makes me sad as Fukuoka has so many cool aspects, relaxed vibes and even has beaches! Instead others recommend standard and crowded places like Miyajima, Kyoto, Osaka etc. I think Fukuoka has this great vibe and it deserves more attention 🥰 On the other hand, it wouldn’t be so bad if Fukuoka stayed a secret gem without the hordes of tourists for it to be enjoyed in peace with the locals haha 😊 Anyway, I love your insights and willingness to give cool places like Fukuoka a try!
