Had a bit of a coming-of-age movie moment even though I’m in the my late 20s where some friends decided to rent a car at 11pm and drive down south to catch the sunrise and snorkel in crystal clear water π
Honestly I had no idea that there were places you could snorkel so close to Tokyo! This was Ebisu Island in Shimoda. You’ll need a car or something to get there but it was soooo nice and I will definitely be going back!
I’m so excited for summer to wrap up though lol…I’m definitely an autumn girl and I WANT FALL CLOTHES PLS LET ME!!! ahhhh

Also, I wasn't actually planning on filming this because I was going with a larger group and I wasn't sure everyone would be comfortable being on camera, but they all asked me why I wasn't filming LOL so it was a bit rushed and unplanned…but that's how life is π€
This summer I went to Little Tokyo a lot because I discovered that the train was extended to East Los Angeles. I wish Los Angeles extended trains to more parts of the city.
My closet is all fall clothes π€ I donβt care! Itβs my favorite season and my favorite fashion. π§‘
It really does look like in a Japanese drama and beautiful of the ocean when it is night.

Hi Allison, great road trip and a fantastic sunrise, Iβd say definitely worth getting up early and travelling for. Itβs always the humidity that gets to me, just zaps the energy out of you. Iβve not tried either of the spreads yet, I love the biscuits/cookies so I think itβs a must try! Glad your friends got you to film this trip as it was great seeing another stunning part of Japan. I donβt really like the ocean much since Iβm not a strong swimmer but I would love the idea of exploring like you did that would be fun or just wading your legs into the water. Def a fun trip it sounds like. Id be interested to try the French cafe that looked good for being Vegan.

Unfortunately, due to global warming, fish become more active in Japan's oceans, and the young seaweed has been eaten away, resulting in very little seaweed and fewer fish.
We have discovered how seaweed grows better in colder waters.
Enjoying the beach(or a lake) is so therapeutic, that everyone should do it once in a while to recharge from everyday life. Japan has some great beaches, you just have to take the time & find them. Looking forward to your next adventure away from the city…

I vote worth it, part because I'm so glad you shared them with us π I don't know that I can pull all nighters anymore with being older and having children, but this seems like it would be a great thing to try early in a trip when the jetlag makes you wake up super early anyway π

I think I'm too old for stuff like that now haha but I also think everyone should do stuff like that at least once! Sometimes sacrificing sleep is worth the experience, looked very beautiful! I would just be anxious about stepping on a crab!!π¦π¦π¦
