We landed at @LongBeachAirport around 7:30P, picked up the rental car, stop off a Trader Joe’s for water, and headed to @DoubletreeLosAngeles for check-in. The check-in process and self parking was nice & easy. The warm cookies is always a nice touch. We were given a great room near the elevator on a low floor, easily overlooking the Japanese garden. It was an accessible 1-BD suite, with a walk-in shower. The location is extremely close to Japan Town, Little Tokyo. Les than 5 min. walk from the lobby.
