Do you recommend going to NYC I’ve always seen it as over hyped ? But other then that nice montage video !!
You can definitely take a flat iron in a personal item (I’m a hair dresser that travels to teach hair across the country). TSA is a government agency, they are the ones who check your bags for security. Spirit as the airline does not double check your bags before you board the plane. But if you’re going to spend money to bring a flat iron, pamper yourself and book a blow out at a blow dry bar to get your hair straightened! Especially because it’s your birthday.

I went last year in May but they never checked for COVID to enter NY & the hotel , Has anything changed when you went this time since they put new restrictions in NYC ?

Highly highly recommend you to pre-pack your toiletries/makeup/hair products of what you normally use and store it away for when you need it. It cuts down A LOT of time and stress when packing especially if it’s last minute and (god forbid) in the event of an emergency where you’ll need to pack a quick overnight bag, all your hygiene stuff is already packed to grab and go. Great video!
