Everyone knows that the tourist traps in Thailand are there to rip you off, but as long as you only spend what you are prepared to lose its still an interesting experience.

the whole floating market is a scam tourist trap
This floating market looks miles better than the Pattaya one but why can't they clean up the water? BTW, I was told years ago when abroad to never accept gifts from strangers in case there was contraband hidden in them and maybe the tourists there are just being super cautious as Thailand has some serious draconian laws and penalties if caught for that kind of thing.
