In May 2018 we visited Shiraito falls in Japan, near Mount Fuji, in an area called Fujinomiya.
Shiraito waterfalls’ full name is: Shiraito no Taki Waterfalls (in Japanese: 白糸の滝 ), and within the nature park you can also find another waterfall called “Otodome no Taki Waterfalls” (or Otodome falls / Otodome waterfalls), and a little pool called Obinmizu Pool. These magnificent natural water features are found along part of the Shibakawa River in this beautiful countryside area of Japan. Japanese country at its best! 🙂 The hiking walk to the falls is easy, even if you’re not very fit like me! Just a short hike – more of a walk really – down a nature trail. I hope you enjoy this quick tour of Shirato falls from our visit.
