Our first couple days on Vis were spent exploring some abandoned military tunnels, a abandoned house and a nude beach!

  1. The stone walls on the hills date to the firts settlers on the islan. that how they split the land. The stone wall were like fences or land borders

  2. This channel is so good, I'm honestly shocked the number of followers isn't bigger. Content, humour, details of the sites, and uniqueness is simply brilliant. We love the banter and jokes. Didn't see anything about the bakeries (pekarne) in Croatia. I really hope you were able to enjoy those. Many thanks for doing these, it wasn't easy. SC

  3. I've had to start/stop some of these videos so I don't know if it was this one or the last one, but you talked about graffiti. I watch another channel named Rambalac, who lives in Japan. He goes on these quiet walks through many areas/districts. In the cities I was surprised how much graffiti and gummy sidewalks there were. Japan borrows culture from around the world and makes it their own but they need to unlearn that one.

  4. This reminds me of an island I worked on in the middle of Long Island Sound which was created to protect New York City from Nazi u-boats. It's completely abandoned now and only scientists/biologists are allowed to work/visit there since it's been turned into a bird sanctuary. I got to explore all the tunnels and it was really crazy – the tunnels also led to a lot of abandoned turret locations and ammunition storage rooms. There was even a lot of these large mechanisms which I have no idea what they did but there were a lot of tracks and rails leading in and out of the shafts. The craziest part was that there was this massive hole – like 100×100 ft which stored a 16 inch gun which could shoot a missile for 26 miles! Apparently the test firing of it blew out a ton of windows on the nearby coasts and led to its decommission. Really creepy yet incredibly fascinating! It's called Great Gull Island, NY btw if you're curious!

  5. Hmmmm…maybe since we're in lock down, maybe you guys can do more urban exploration vids in japan?

  6. Enjoyed your video….not the run of the mill tourist videos. maybe the olive trees were planted as terraced farming…..very old method for hillside farming. The little window in at the tunnel entrance….maybe for weapons placement.

  7. Regarding mines… if they are laid out by professionals, they are put in a pattern and recorded. The reason is that mines are an 'area denial' weapon, and once a war is over, the winner wants to use the land, and must clear them.

  8. I can't believe what I'm watching (a tunnel hike)… These videos are great! 🙋🏾

  9. I'm curious if you guys still have that Olympics 2020 shirt anymore with how Japan is handling the pandemic?
