A Flight to Mount Everest + World’s Most Dangerous Airport – Lukla



Our helicopter was one of the first to take off at sunrise around 6:20am from Kathmandu Airport. There are many helicopter operators offering tours to see the majestic mountains in Nepal but there’s only a small window of season to do this. I’d recommend going in April or October when the weather is at its clearest and not so cold.

Lukla is the gateway to Mount Everest. There is no road so no car can get there. A flight to Lukla is 25 minutes on a fixed-wing airplane or 40 mins by helicopter. We arrived there at 7am.

We took off again after refueling and headed to Mt Everest, on the way we passed Namche Bazar, Syangboche airstrip, Khumbu Icefall…

Mount Everest is the one with the sharp peak with snow blowing at the top. We were almost at 20,000 ft but Mt Everest stood really tall from where our helicopter was. We were trying to get up to Camp 2 of Mt Everest which is the absolute limit of the helicopter.

We eventually landed at Kala Patthar. I was so frantically taking photos and videos and started to use the oxygen supply from the helicopter. Our next stop is the pristine Gokyo Lake. On the way, we saw the world’s highest glacier, Khumbu Glacier. It really amazes me how close we fly to those mountain terrains. After a brief stop on the lake, we headed towards the world’s highest hotel, hotel Everest view for breakfast.

The whole trip took about 5 hours. The cost of doing it is about $1200 per person sharing on the helicopter. Helicopters don’t just bring tourists, they also bring cargo and bring down sick and fatigue trekkers from the mountain down on a daily basis.

    I just flew myself several times to the Airport Lukla and the top of the world in MSFS 2020. It wasn't dangerous! I spent just 12,99$. 😀 just joking… this airport is crazy if you have bad conditions+cloud+wind

    All these little villages they fly over, I wonder what the nightlife is like there? I can't imagine the dance clubs are much. Perhaps drinks are cheap at least?

    When I was a child, I used to hear a beeping noise as the plane landed; well, now I know that the pilots intentionally stalled the plane right before landing because of the conditions up in Lukla😳

    Fate / Decree of Man

    17: 13-14: We have fastened every man’s fate (decree) upon his neck, and We shall produce It as a Book for him on the Day of Judgment that he will find it as an illuminating spread open Book. It will be said to him: “Read your Book, sufficient is yourself this Day to make out an account of you”.

    18: 49: The Book will be produced and you will see the Fujjar (Mujirims) apprehensive; they will say: “Woe to us! What kind of book is this? It omits nothing either small or large unless it is recorded”; they will find there presented whatever they had done, and the Impartial Lord will not be unjust to anyone.

    23: 62-63: And with Us a Recorded Book that will reflect with Truth, they will not be wronged. But their hearts are absent-minded about It, and they will continue their deeds without the consciousness about the Recording Book.

    Mujirims are serving Satan without utilizing their intelligence as told in verses 36: 59-62. These Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who read these verses are not aware of this ‘Recording Book’. That is why they are in the forefront for every mischievous and evil deed all over the world.

    36: 12: Indeed, We shall revive the dead, We are Recording all that they are sending ahead and that their footprints left behind, We have Recorded everything in an open Ledger.

    Everyone’s evils and goodness which they did in their worldly life and evils and goodness of the heritage which they left behind will be individually evaluated on the Day of Judgment.

    45: 28-29: On that Day, You will see each community bowing on their knees, everyone will be called to their Record Book and you will be rewarded according to your earnings. This is Our Book that will show your deeds with Truth, and We have been Recording whatever you were doing.

    Verses 45: 30-31 say: “For those who believe and are conveying Adhikr-Lord’s Message to the entire mankind, their Lord will enter them in His Mercy, indeed, which is a clear victory. But to Fujjar/Kuffar, Allah will say: ‘Were My Verses not recited to you? But you showed arrogance and became Mujirim’. The Mujirims,disbelievers and aimless mentioned in every verse in the Book are Fujjar (hypocrites and their blind followers). As explained in verse 4: 118 it is already decreed that in each 1000, 999 men and their Jinn soulmates of every Messenger’s people will be trapped by Satan the disbeliever.

    58: 6: On the Day of Judgment, Lord Allah will resurrect them all again and will show them what they have been doing; Allah has Recorded everything, but they have forgotten it all, and Allah is a Witness over everything.

    78: 21-30: For those who are living here following satanic footsteps (Thagooth/Satanic forces), Hell will be the dominion. They were not expecting the Trial in the Hereafter and were repeatedly rejecting Our verses. We have been recording everything in a clear Book. So, you taste, We have increased to you nothing except punishment.

    Since the Three-Time-Knower Lord is the Impartial, He is informing man about his activities through His Speech- Adhikr. If everyone has the awareness of this fact, one will have no feelings, words, deeds, etc. which one doesn’t wish to be recorded in this world and presented on the Day of Judgment. But today, Arabic Quran reading Fujjar all over the world are not learning or propagating Lord’s Book anywhere; and so, they are indulged in all evil activities such as communalism, selfishness, terrorism, flesh trade, and smuggling. This aimless and` worthless people by forgetting Adhikr are preferring bodily and worldly life without considering the soul and the Hereafter. Thus, they are earning Hell for the 7th phase. It is commanded to perform prayer to maintain the Book ‘Dhikree’ as told in verse 20: 14. But by rejecting Adhikr, these worst people are seeing opposite genders’ sexual organs by their hearts during their prayers as explained in verse 2: 110. As Truth Adhikr is the Standard to judge on the Day of Judgment one should utilize It here to weigh all his deeds. Otherwise, the read heard and touched verses will argue and witness against them and will push them into Hell. Three-Time-Knower Lord will question everyone’s faculties of hearing, sight, and understanding; and also about everyone’s skins and other organs, as well as the earth, will speak in front of the Lord Allah as explained in verse 6: 68. That is why it is told about these worst creatures in verse 6: 26: “They are preventing mankind from Adhikr, and are preventing themselves from It; indeed they are destroying none except themselves, but they perceive it not”. These true disbelievers are falsely boasting that they are worshiping Allah and are following Muhammed. They are serving Satan by following 29 pseudo-prophets.

    To put it briefly, the fate of everyone who received the Book is into Hell. Any male or female by utilizing Adhikr—the Guidance—should transform his or her Jinn soulmate into a believer as explained in verse 8: 48. Thus one can change his or her fate from the ledger ‘Sijjeen’ of Hell mentioned in 83: 7 into the ledger ‘Illiyeen’ of Paradise mentioned in 83: 18.

    $1200 for 5 hour trip is worth it. I wish the Everest view was a little better though. I’ll visit in the next few years.
