To commemorate a milestone my best friend and I achieved this year, we celebrated with a girl’s trip around Asia for the entirety of July 2023. It’s funny because if you were to ask me 8 years ago what I would be doing at age 18, I can tell you the LAST thing she would’ve said would be traveling. Traveling was always a farfetched dream that seemed near impossible to do. Thoughts of financial stability and studying for a degree always clouded over my mind. Yet all it took was an impulsive hit at the “buy” button for me to have one of the greatest years of my life.
