In this video, I visited the eastern most train station in Hokkaido, Japan. Only local trains operate on the rail line, also known as Hanasaki Line (Flower Blossom Line), so the round trip from Kushiro to the end of the line takes almost 5 hours.
I started off with the first train from Kushiro Station, departing at 5:35 am.
This is a very beautiful line, and there’s always rumor that the line will be suspended soon due to low demand locally, so I reckon it’s best to visit before the rumor becomes true.
This is a very quiet and calming trip. Do enjoy the chill & calm Hokkaido summer!
