  1. Hey Chris, thanks for the "walk down on memory lane"…my first visit was early 87…long ago, when I went to a ping pong show, in a dark, filthy, narrow alley. Lots of noise coming out of some staircases, men and women grabing, luring you into the bars, which were smoke filled, stinky and sticky chairs. It was an experience, I would not want to miss. Albeit now, I would condemn these things – then…..Nowadays, it is like any big city, with an official red light area, where anybody can go for (adult-) entertainment. Colorful lights, music, drinks, etc. youngers, hippsters, etc. i.e. Reeperbahn in Hamburg/Germany. It attracts tourists…brings forex, jobs, turnover (as long as there is no corruption), taxes to pay for hospitals, roads, education, etc.
Mankind will extinct itself through other means….:))😂

  2. Patpong looks like a great night out! Has gogo bars and beer gardens like Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy… but offers more variety than just the these, with museum, show bars and BDSM bar. 🙂

  3. A group of girls from Australia asked me to take them to one of these places. They ended up so disgusted after 10 minutes they made a beeline for the door. They didn't want to touch the door handle but the worker inside was attentive enough to know this and let us all out.

  4. You never cease to amaze me with the creative and hilarious ways to highlight places every tourist in Bangkok has heard about but most would never admit to visiting. I think it’s now past its prime but more historic than most would ever realize.

  5. I remember the fear we had on our first trip into a few of those clubs in Bangkok back in 94. We're still alive and you're still telling "the story". Nice that I get to relive my birthday celebration as well. Thanks for the memories P. Here's to making some new ones real soon hopefully.

  6. I just can't help but think that these girls are someone's daughter and many of them would not choose to be there. Human trafficking and sex slavery is a real thing. What might be fun to see creates a lot of misery for others. Not a fan. I like how you pointed out that there is so much more to Thailand than its red light district. I know that this is part of Thailand too, but I would think twice about supporting this industry.

  7. Not our cup of tea and my husband would never want to go there but it’s good you show diff things. Something for everyone although I can’t imagine why someone would Travel just to go to places like this. There is so much more to life ❤

  8. Great video Chris. I end up with a soaked crotch here quite often – for various reasons. I used to get a tuk tuk from Suhk to home over the river, maybe once a week, just for fun before WFH. Drinking Leos and smoking LM daengs and seeing everything up close. I never get sick of it! I go to Patpong occasionally. It used to have some great little bars. Has slowly degraded over the years and now the banana boyz have moved in. The land must be worth squintillions. Can't see it lasting much longer.

  9. Careful about 500 baht ticket to enter the pxssy show, end up with more than 10,000 baht when you leave. Refuse to pay may cause your ear cut off lol

  10. I went to Pattaya for the first time aged just 22 in 1986. I had a girlfriend at home. I was only there as I worked for British Airways and at that time BKK was the easiest warm place to go in winter for 'new' staff with a low staff travel priority. And the Hotel was only about $10 per night 4 star. I went to 'Crazy Horse' a Go-Go. They had this ping-pong show similar to what you mention. I was scared to death!

  11. I always thought these kind of YouTube videos was full of failed clowns desperately trying to be funny and famous until I seen this guy. Now I know it is.

  12. So WHERE do you go to watch ping pong show without getting scammed? I read I lot of places tell you one price and then when you leave they rip you off. It didn't really became clear from your video how much it was in the end and did you actually watch it.

  13. Similarly I was at nana plaza doing a vid and a security guy in the food court told me to delete my footage and stop filming… my sense of boundaries with video is difficult to know some times

  14. I saw a ping pong show in Patpong last week and I have to say, I don’t ever wanna see another one the rest of my life
