  1. Rion so sorry to hear of your roadblock. I am praying for your situation. God has a plan and I know you will have fun whatever you end up doing. 🙏🏻❤️

  2. Is it easy to go back to Tokyo? Is the fare the same? May we also have the link for reservation. Thank you

  3. Hi Rion, it's sad to hear of the bad news, Praying for you. Hope all will be fine. We are looking forward to Mt Fuji The last time I was up there was in Spring 2016, I just follow the tour and the bus took us up and included the stay in an onsen and even visited the premium outlet. 🙏

  4. おいおい! ライオン くん!! it's ok there is always other ways take your time we can wait 👍👍 plan ahead and give us a adventures mount Fuji vlog good luck !!!!!❤️❤️❤️

  5. Rion you do so much without a big team of people. You are amazing. Mt fuji you can climb later when you plan it out.

  6. Rion, I would say if you can't do mt Fuji, no problem. Plenty of other things to see and do in that area.

  7. I too loved seeing the countryside scenes! And you're complication hopef6helps other travelers. Hood luck Rion!

  8. I’m really enjoying this adventure as I have never seen this scenery before. The food places looked really appealing. I’m sorry you encountered a snag in your travel to Mt. Fuji and I hope you can get it straightened out somehow by if not then maybe next time 😊

  9. You can do it! Thanks for another great video! Just ask your friend to rent a non EV car or just pay the taxi! You’re already all the way there!!! 🎉

  10. Wonderful video, such an enjoyable trip. But sometimes the trip doesn't quite work out, can happen to any of us. Happened to me during my Japan trip too.
Really glad I got to see you the next day Rion!

  11. poor planning and lack of research. u should have allocated at least 2 days to hike Mt Fuji. look at Abroad in Japan's latest video.

  12. Konniciwa Rion, Loved the video seeing all the different sights and sounds. The places and food you eat is very good, loved seeing the different places and you eating different foods, all looked delicious. I enjoyed seeing you on the buses, the buses looked so well kept and looked after. Taxis are always expensive no matter where you go. Your hotel room was very small and bit odd to see the sink near the bed. Rest room looked fine. Good to hear you can have unlimited alcohol, the sake looked nice, I like sake. Sorry to hear you can't get to mount Fiji yet, you were so close, you'll get there next time, stay positive, make it happen, it will sort it self out. Enjoy the hotel room. Arigato.

  13. sooo sorry to hear about the news … hope hope hope things WILL work out for you … as I know its very hard to get window chance to climb / view mt fuji. keep well keep going …. best regards

  14. Thanks for showing Japan country side . It looks beautiful and quiet really love it 😍.

  15. Hello from 2 hours South of Chicago!! We LOVE your episodes. One question: I notice that sometimes, like in this episode, you seem to pronounce some words like ‘sake’ in what does not seem to be a Tokyo and/or Osaka dialect. (For example ‘sake’ like ‘sawkey’ rather than ‘sawkay’.
Is that a pronunciation to make it a bit more familiar for speakers of English, or is it a regional dialect? I know there are a lot of them!!
We look forward to seeing you get to Fuji!! Hope u make it!!!

  16. Greetings from the Netherlands. Just wanna let you know i love you vids! So fun to watch! I went to Hong Kong and Korea this summer…hope i can go to Japan next summer! Keep the good work many many thx!

  17. You never know for what it‘s good. Plans to realize is to make thoughts into pictures – but something you don’t plan makes memories you tell lifelong with a smile (my experience) ! ❤

  19. Rion- It was very sad to see you so upset in the video. I am sorry your plans didn’t go as you hoped. Always love your videos!

  20. This was a neat tour, you couldn't go to Mount Fuji, yet your walks are informal and enjoyed by many.

  21. Whatever you do..all of us will watch and enjoy…Your smart and full of life…cannot wait for the next video..we all ❤ you….Stay safe👏 and lets all keep walking with Rion..🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

  22. I literally feel your disappointment. I and your lovely patreon supporters would gladly donate towards your taxi fare.
I hope that you can make it to Mt Fuji, but whatever you end up doing, it will be amazing… as are all of your videos. ❤

  23. Rion, you have already showed us a lot about getting to Mt. Fuji. Even if you don't make it we still love the video and love it all. 555, keep going! Crossing fingers for you!

  24. Oh that's why people I know normally reserved packaged tour via Klook. Thanks for your vlog…enlightening….that we can't actually do a DIY going to Mt..Fuji

  25. Saving this for our trip this Dec because Mt Fuji is one of the places that we will visit… Your videos are very helpful Rion for our yearly Japan trip! Lovin it 😊

  26. Just keep trying, Rion! It may not be anytime soon but you will get there! 💪💪💪

  27. omg i just went to kawaguchiko last few months in april – may! i love oshino hakkai but it was pretty crowded when i went 😅 maybe cuz it was close to Fuji Shibazakura festival. I also noticed there's lack of taxi in kawaguchiko area! i was with my elder parents so they get tired easily and they cant really stand out for too long to wait for bus… so i had to look for taxi by asking random hotel lobby or stores to call them for us 😅 luckily i can speak basic japanese and they willing to help us since like you said uber doesnt work here! but overall it was still a nice peaceful area, just can get busy during holiday season. Though most hotel in kawaguchiko area seems to offer free shuttle from their hotel to kawaguchiko station so its nothing to worry about!

and im sorry to hear about your plan on climbing mount fuji! i hope u can find something else fun to do in the area! and im sure u can climb it next time 🙂 fuji san isnt going anywhere! we all be looking forward for your next opportunity!
