Coolest vantage point to take photos of 🗻⛩️Mount Fuji together with the vermillion Pagoda that is THE MEME IMAGE OF JAPAN and a bonus if you have sakura cherry blossom around 🌸🌸🌸!! However I got there briefly before sunset and we didn’t have much light to play with but then I discovered that the lateral sun rays were perfect to give a stunning glow to the Pagoda, also I can declare that the best moment to photograph it in Sakura 🌸 season is actually by night when the sky is black, the cherry flowers white lit up and the pagoda red! And we also get to see Mount Fuji although atmospheric haze doesn’t let it be contrasty enough to stand out in the distance. If you want to get here, take a Keio highway bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal to the Shimoyoshida Highway exit (they drop you off on the highway and you take some stairs down) and get to Arakura Sengen Park by using Google Maps, lots of stairs to climb but very worthwhile!! Also there’s lots of live cameras streaming Mount Fuji continuously so better check them to make sure he is out and not in clouds!!
