⚠️Unfiltered thoughts ahead ⚠️
I think the concept is good but the execution is a bit weird 🤣
1. The forest Giraffe Nap Pod (wooden one) lets in so much light and noise that I could not really relax nor sleep. The Spacia Giraffe Nap Pod (metal) lets a lot less light/noise in! 🚀
2. I think I was supposed to get a disposable cover for the part that holds your face/arms but I didn’t get one -I wonder if it’s clean enough? 🥲
3. Comfort wise I think you can make it work, but I think it could be harder for bigger people to navigate the space (also there’s a 100kg weight limit). I’m not too tall but I thought it was eash to hit the bars for example!
4. I did like the air purifier below the seat and little fan above – the temperature was nice and comfortable!
5. I found the 30 minutes time slot to be short. I know it’s supposed to be a 20min nap but especially if it’s your first time you will probably find yourself too distracted/excited figuring out the pod, your posture, etc! 🤭
That being said it’s a different and even fun experience for 800¥ (5$/€) and maybe you’ll even manage to nap and wake up refreshed and ready for more Harajuku adventures in your Tokyo trip!
