Summer in Spain 🇪🇸 Barcelona Adventure and FC Barcelona vs Tottenham Matchday

In this Spanish Travel Vlog we spend the day in Barcelona visiting all the top tourist sites like the Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila/La Pedrera, Casa Batllo, and La Rambla. Unfortunately we decided last minute to spend the day in the city before we went to the Olympic Stadium at Montjuic for the Barcelona vs Tottenham game. Since we decided the night before we didn’t have tickets to any of the tourist attractions and everything was sold out as it was a busy summer day in Barcelona! We still had a great time exploring the streets of Barcelona. We had fun walking down the Rambla from Plaza Catalunya the whole way to the Christopher Columbus statue next to the beach. After we arrived at the Colon statue, we found a great place to have a menu lunch in Barcelona! Top Spain travel tip: if you’re eating lunch on a weekday, as if the restaurant has a ‘menu del dia’ or a menu of the day! Some restaurants (like the one we went to) don’t advertise this menu, but it saves you so much money!! After our great Spanish food lunch, we jumped on a bus to go to Barceloneta – the most popular beach in Barcelona. And it was so busy!! It’s amazing that there are such nice beaches in such a big city!! After the beach we took the bus back to the car so we could change into our FC Barcelona football jerseys and head to the game in the new stadium at Montjuic. The FC Barcelona vs Tottenham friendly match was the first one that they’ll be playing in the Olympic Stadium as opposed to Camp Nou due to renovations. We had to join a huge line to take a free shuttle bus to the stadium. Luckily even though it was the first game the shuttle worked really well! Even after the game, we didn’t have to wait long to jump on a bus and go back to our car. It was a great day in Barcelona!
