Get my Paolo fromTOKYO Premium Kaminari Hot Sauce – https://paolofromtokyohotsauce.com/
Correction: The Hot Sauce is 58,100 SHU (Scoville Heat Units)

The hot sauce is made with an original blend of Premium Kanzuri chili paste aged 6 years for a deeper umami, locally grown Carolina Reaper Peppers for that extra fire and shoyu (Japanese soy sauce). The hot sauce crafting process is performed by local artisans so they can only craft about 1200 bottles at a time but this guarantees the utmost attention to detail and an unrivaled taste experience. The hot sauce will be released in limited batches, so get it while it’s still available.

In my day in the life video, I wasn’t able to show you the entire process of how this one of a kind hot sauce is handcrafted, so I’m back to give you an even more behind the scenes experience and then finally have the workers try the hot sauce. The hot sauce is made by a small batch producer in Japan’s Niigata Prefecture and of course they use Niigata-grown Carolina reaper chili peppers to give the Hot sauce it’s undeniable heat. A fire that I can say is in every drop.

The word Kaminari in my Paolo fromTOKYO Premium Kaminari Hot Sauce means Thunder and Lighting in Japanese, which is what it feels like when the spiciness hits you. And hence, the classic Edo period picture of the Japanese God of Thunder used on the label, but dressed in a fun and playful Zebra print. I hope you enjoy this visit this small Japanese factory handcrafting a spicy umami-rich Japanese hot sauce.

  1. I absolutely love that your sauce brings the heat I love to a rich, umami Japanese sauce! I hope the sauce is successful enough we get future collaborations with more variety!!!

  2. All the best for your debut hot sauce! Alas, I fall into the category of people that prefer not to have chilli or hot sauces added to compliment foods…for me even pepper made me sweat..the highest I could tolerate standard Laksa – as in no added spices or chilli…

  3. this is the first the video from this channel that i dont fullly watch. i usally enjoy the videos but this experience would make me think twice the next time

  4. the sauce is great, love mine! It feels medium hot then when you have enough, whoooooah!

  5. my brother brought one back from his trip in japan. It really good and a shame he didnt buy an entire case as we finished in 2 weeks

  6. The 1st thing my husband made with your hot sauce was ribs. Ooooh boy! Some of the best ribs I have ever had. Flavor was perfectly spicy with loads of flavor from the sauce that meshed great with the pork. Love the sauce, good job!

  7. the production of each video is crazy detailed.. all the camera shots, POV of everyone, you never know where its going to be next but it flows so well.. its amazing!

  8. For anybody who is curious, it punches a little bit harder than Tabasco scorpion, but has a completely different flavor profile. Definitely worth having.

  9. Is selling in other parts of Japan? I will be there in Nov so will keep a look out for it. Will be travelling mostly on the southern end.

  10. Got mine in the mail yesterday and its Amazing!!! Cant get enough of it!! Thank you for the tasty hot sauce!!

  11. Congratulations! I can't wait to see your hot sauce being sponsored in a bokksu box from Japan. 😊 Best wishes!!

  12. I'd love to try your sauce but the shipping to New Zealand is nearly the price of the sauce, we simply can't justify $40+ dollars for a bottle of hot sauce. Great work though Paulo one day we will try to get some it looks yum!

  13. Bought the first batch! Dude this stuff is amazing but goddam is hot! It’s so addictive but i can only eat a small amount. Can’t enjoy a lot of it.

  14. You should totally send a free bottle to First We Feast- Hot Ones, would be fun to have that on their rotation.

  15. I bought 2 bottles when you initially announced it, and I have to say I'll definitely be ordering more. It packs a punch but it super flavourful, definitely a real hot sauce for sure. I'm glad you didn't wimp out on the heat, it's great.

  16. I loved the first bottle so much that I ended up ordering two more!

    It's life changing on pizza!

  17. I got my bottle in the mail the other day and couldn't wait to try it! After putting some on a spoon I quickly realized two things. 1. It is one of the tastiest hot sauces I've ever had, and it has such a unique flavour thanks to the shoyu base and
    2. It is maybe one of the spiciest things I've ever tried.

  18. I bought first round – heard it had sold out and also bought second 😂… Put it in a soup, thinking "how spicy could it really be? “ whoa – 12 drops for one bowl of soup was too much for me. But now that I know it – and have my levels – it's amazing! Only bad thing is my friends have stolen it from me after tasting it so I'm back down to one bottle from the four I used to own 😢.

  19. You, maiko and of course wolfy has brought me so much warmth through bad times so as a massive hot sauce lover and small hot sauce maker myself i cannot wait to try it! Also can i just say how much i appreciate the kaminari logo!? It is well designed, artful, impactful & with a story to it. Be very proud of that Paolo. I've designed logos for many years and its a very hard mark to hit especially while keeping it relevant and memorable!

Long post sorry, all the love to you and your family from a long time time fan from Denmark! ❤

  20. Congrats Paolo, I am a longtime viewer all the way back in 2020. Its amazing to see how far you have become and I will purchase a hot sauce just to support you. Keep up the work Paolo!!!
