A far-flung volcanic island 358km south of Tokyo in the Pacific Ocean, Aogashima is the most remote and topographically interesting island in the Izu archipelago.
The entire island is a volcanic crater, within which there is another, smaller volcano.

Wow Japan is really beautiful and amazing, how could i wish that i can travel there someday. Thank you for all the videos you've shared.
How does a car end up on the island?
Beautiful 😍
Isn’t this the hidden island with the active volcano 🌋 where people live?
So I'm wondering… how come no one is wondering about those vertical ridges on the inner caldera?
Me, I can't sleep because of them. There's another video that mentions, that they are man-made and were used to grow flowers on. But seems a bit overkill to me. Also… terraces are usually horizontal, why would they grow flowers like that? What kind of flowers? Why grow flowers in the first place? On an island, plants tha produce food would make much more sense. Such a mistery.
hi. I am going there soon. I cant drive a car. possible to walk around??
