Turning down the tempo after 4 days of walking under the summer heat. We went for a leisure walk around Marunouchi and had lunch at Sushi Chiku Zan which comes at great value for money! We took Shinkansen to Omiya in the afternoon, where we walk through the Hikawa Sando Heisei Hiroba Park to reach Hikawa Jinja. We also chance upon the Nakasendo Festival at Daimoncho. An impromptu trip of surprises!
