The Hasshoku Center is actually a large marketplace with a great selection of fresh seafood straight from the port of Hachinohe. It also has a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs from southern Aomori. Inside there is popular place in the center called Shichirin-mura. There you can grill over a charcoal brazier fresh seafood bought from one of the market’s many stalls. The Shichirin-mura is a cheap and fun way to enjoy Hachinohe’s amazing seafood, and it is very popular amongst visitors and locals alike.
