🐰Sorry we couldn't show every ren in the video. If you have a favorite ren, let me know in the comments!
🐰For the paid stages and some other stages, you'll need a ticket. But there are plenty of spots where you can enjoy without one! Just a heads up, the Soh-Odori (Group Finale) is exclusive to the paid stages.
🐰Heard that the 200,000 yen ticket gets you a comfy sofa seat, some insights, and a meal made from local ingredients.
🐰Due to the typhoon's impact, the Awaodori on the next day, August 15th, has been fully canceled.
I’m glad you chose that thumbnail❤
辛苦了,至少各位的歡慶令人愉快,也無任何炭排放,台灣該學習貴國的慶賀方式
Absolutely 🪭 fantastic! We from UK 🇬🇧 this is so very unique and really enjoyed this performance and dancing. We have booked a vacation next year to Japan and are very excited!!! Thank you for your great videos 🙏
What a rich tableau of joy, happiness and celebration. Thank you for taking us along to see more fascinating aspects of your culture 😊🙏🏿
I was lucky enough to live in Tokushima for 2 years and attended the festival both summers. Very different experiences with sweltering clear weather the first year and to=ential rains the second. Although everyone was soaked to the bones, there was no dampening of spirits. Although one must buy tickets to watch the professional teams, there is plenty to watch h on the streets, and bystanders are encouraged to join in. For months before the actual festival, practice can be heard every evening
I appreciate the time and effort you put into responding to comments, thank you.
When I was very young (5) my grandparents took me to dance festivals. Dressed up as the dancers and danced. It was fun, but I really wanted the snacks. Takoyaki was a favorite. Thank you enjoyed.

Soo cool , I want to go someday !
Espectacular el festival Matsuri 2023…Gracias desde Buenos Aires.☺
Bravo 🙌! Great explanations and descriptions of the different groups. Thank you for sharing.
How cool! I like how the performers walking by were waving to the camera at the end 😂
Wonder if they’re still feel like dancing now with radioactive water in the seas? Be careful what you eat.
What a wonderful festival! Even in the rain, everyone's dancing and performing was amazing. あるがとう!
とても美しいです、ありがとう 🙏
If there is such a beautiful festival next year, I should go see it. ❤️❤️

восхитительно!
That's beautiful
7:45 The rhythm reminds me of the Inazuma battle theme in Genshin, Duel In The Mist 😅
Also bravo to the participants who danced despite the heavy rain
Thanks for the sharing. Great shows!
Such wonderful and ancient dances! With grace and reverence for their ancestors!
ANA: Hold my beer. 9:03
Can you imagine how uncomfortable it must be to dance wearing geta on your toes?

This is absolutely stunning. Bless you for braving the rain and those cheerful women dancing in the torrential downpour. Lifting your camera during the finale to capture the image of 1000 dancers was very appreciated. The commentary with cultural notes, you have simply outdone yourself. I do not know if the captions are the work of Mrs or Mr Time to Travel but they are superb and it's so nice to have a context to help understand. But for all this praise, there's one thing missing: why are Mrs and Mr Time to Travel not in the celebrity dance ren? 😊
