खजुराहो मैं स्वयं भी जा चुका हूँ। यहाँ काम क्रीड़ा की प्रतिमाएँ बहुत कम हैं, परंतु इसे ही केंद्रित कर प्रचारित किया जाता है। यह मंदिर आध्यात्मिक साधना को अभिव्यक्त करते हैं। भौतिक संभोग आदि वासनाओं के बाहरी आवरण को पार कर मनुष्य ईश्वरीय साधना में प्रवेश करता है। और वासनाओं में से होकर निकलना, यह जीवन का अभिन्न हिस्सा है, ऐसा संदेश ये मंदिर देते हैं। यह सिर्फ पुरातात्विक स्थान न होकर भगवान शिव और श्रीराम का पूजा स्थल है। यह हिन्दू समाज को सौंपा जाना चाहिए।
