Koibito Misaki (Lover’s Cape) in west Izu is a scenic spot with a view of Mt. Fuji across the Suruga Bay. It was renamed to its current romantic title “Lover’s Cape” because of the many tourists visiting this place due to a folklore that had been told about couples reconfirming their love by ringing the bell. The promenade leading to the cape is surrounded by nature and is ideal for a walk. Don’t miss the “Love Call Bell” that is installed exactly as it seems to be mentioned in the folklore.
