Yanaka area is one of the few districts in Tokyo where you can experience the shitamachi atmosphere (下町風情), an old town nostalgic feeling of Tokyo from past decades. Yanaka Ginza is a very nice little shopping street located near Nippori station. You can find Showa-style coffee shop and traditional Japanese goods here.
