    Hi Tim, Matt and Kurt from Tweed, Heads, last time I went to an airshow was around 1987 at Richmond Aurforce Base it was great, they had Qantas B767, DC3, a replica of Kingsford Smith's plane and other aircraft on display as well as been allowed to go on board a lot of the planes to see what they were like. I don't recall having to pay to go in, I was working with the old Department of Aviation/CAA then.
    Have fun up there at the Gold Coast.
    I personally prefer to watch the airlines come and go and fortunately being in a flight path from the Gold Coast airport, can watch them come and go at anytime and for free. I enjoy going down to Sydney, when I can afford to and watch them come and go from there, as well as go and look at the cruise ships, when they are in.

    hi tim matt and kirt really loved the stream today the f18s sound really good when you have a good sound system with bass it really sounds like the same thing even with the msfs the f18 sounds very nice aswell

    Epic footage. Thanks guys. Had work couldn’t make it. Then Weekends were sold out. Thought about just rocking up and hanging around and hoping to spot the aircraft’s from a distance lol. Was at work in Ipswich when the C17 flew by. Awesome to see.

    I thought the airshow was pretty lame. False advertisement at its finest. You see fighter jets on the posters everywhere but we saw exectly one. The f 18. I'm from the netherlands and if we have airshows its constant fighterjets. So i was pretty disappointed with the show
