Episode 29 – In the first part of this Oman documentary series we are in Muscat, the capital of Oman. We explore this beautiful city, including the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. We enjoy lunch in a traditional Omani restaurant called Bait Al Luban. We visit Muscats biggest fish market and enjoy an incredible sunset boat cruise along Omans rugged and mountainous coastline into Mutrah Harbour. The evening is the time the Mutrah Corniche comes alive and here is where you can find the Mutrah Souq one of the oldest marketplaces in the middle east. Learn about Frankincense, it is an integral part of Oman’s culture and heritage. Also discover the importance of the Omani Khanjar, also known as the Omani dagger. It is a traditional weapon and symbol of the Omani people.

A huge thank you to Shabib for such a fun and informative tour and being so accommodating. We highly recommend reaching out to him if you’re in Muscat and have him pick you up from airport and show you around.

  2. What a lucky people who born in Oman. It's look like my country's traditional cities (such as Yazd city) but far more cleaner streets and air and a relaxing life by the sea. After watching this video I feel an unlucky person that live in my country's pallouted capital city.
