8 theme cafes I tried in Tokyo, Japan this Summer 2023. Some excellent some not so good but that’s the nature of trying themed anime cafes. We can’t really expect much from pop ups vs permanent cafes. Theme cafes are generally quite expensive but they are always fun and worth a try.
I will be back in Tokyo in September and again in October so let me know if there are any cafes you would like me to check out. I’m considering Pompompurin, Sanrio, Snoopy, Square Enix, etc.
