The abalone is one of the most sought-after seafood in the world. It fine and iodic taste make it a luxury product. In China, it can be sold at eight thousand dollars the kilo.
Every part of the abalone is valuable. The meat is used for consumption, the abalone gut is used to make sauce with and the shell can be used for pharmaceutical use or as a sort of sentimental offering.

Why are you calling them the rarest? I can easily catch them in several locations in my state. Very quick and easy to gather up a feed. 🤷♂️
