THE SABBATICAL – Episode 12: Sounds & Colours (Colombia)

Fresh off of family vacation in the Turks and Caicos, we find ourselves in Colombia! Thankfully, we have a few locals (Carlos, Maria and baby Benja) to look after us for two weeks.

After taking in the local sights of the capital city, Bogota, we head to the Department of Boyaca to enjoy sometime in the colourful town of Raquira and the white-washed walls of Villa de Leyva.

Back in Bogota, we see the colours of the markets and enjoy a feast before taking flight to Colombia’s coffee axis where we’re greeted with the colours of Filandia and the palm forest of the Cocora Valley.

Colombia has enough sounds and colours to last a lifetime. Will two weeks be enough?!
