  7. My middle school was about 600 m away from Bakmi Gang Kelinci. Bakmi gang kelinci is a break up from the original establishment called Bakmi Aboen, the location used to be close to each other, and both have their own loyal fans. Me I'm more to the Bakmi Aboen side, looking forward to eat Bakmi Aboen again when I'm going back to Jakarta next month.
Kerak telor is the original Jakarta's/Betawi's traditional food, only available in Jakarta.๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

  11. Vlog yang menarik terimakasih buat mbaknya yang telah memperkenalkan keragaman budaya lewat makanan kepada orang asing โค

  12. Frohe 78 Indonesien Unabhangigkeit (17 August) Tag๐Ÿ’‘! Ich wunsche Luke & Naomi schone Abendteuer๐ŸšŽ und viel Gluck beim Essen halal Speise in Bogor und Jakarta๐Ÿ!

  13. Jakarta is so underrate in terms of exploration by travellers and vloggers. They just usually fly straight to Bali miss hidden gem under. Jakarta just enjoy this kind of publication only in recently years (5-6 years back further, there is only a few foreign traveller came to Jakarta as a tourist. Yes there are a bunch of foreigners too but to do work and business things).
And while its an adventurous thing to explores an area with almost no plan, its always a good idea to walk along with the local as your guide.

  14. Real old school spots, not sure if theyโ€™re actually good because itโ€™s more of a nostalgic choice for many of them. Iโ€™m old, but even I donโ€™t really fancy the old school ice cream as since childhood Iโ€™m already used to the modern ice cream thatโ€™s so much creamier. I do admit that the ice cream parlor Tropic looked really cool in that old picture from the 1950s, it would be awesome if they could get that look back!

Oh and Naomi, you donโ€™t need to pronounce โ€˜jโ€™ as โ€˜yโ€™, weโ€™re not Dutch ๐Ÿ˜‚ Itโ€™s Jakarta, after all, not Yakarta ๐Ÿ˜ Yes, we used to use Dutch alphabets a long time ago, but not anymore. Weโ€™ve made some vital changes since our independence.
