In this video I visit the most popular fast food chain, McDonalds in District 1 Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) near the Vietnam tourist hotspot Bui Vien Party Nightlife Street. Vietnamese fast food is unique because there is stuff on the menu we don’t see in the West, like Vietnamese food such as rice and fired chicken. I bring my girlfriends along and we review the Vietnamese food and the McDonald’s food and explore the entirety of the restaurant, Fast food in Vietnam is very different but also very much the same.

Thank you very much everyone for all the love you send my way. I assure you, the feeling is mutual.
I am an American Expat in Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam. (I dislike the word Expatriate). I have lived in Vietnam for 3 years, I am almost considered an expert at living abroad. As I live, work and travel in Vietnam and south east Asia, I want to take you around with me to show you what I saw in Vietnam, in South East Asia and talk with you about my experiences living in Saigon HCMC and take you with me as I travel vlog around Vietnam and South East Asia in 2022. I am not a backpacker but I started by wanting to backpack through South East Asia. I was going to just visit of vacation, but I was going to take part in tourism activities. I was going to be a globetrotting tourist but I never really planed to document mytravels. Was going to be a long holiday trip, maybe I would become a digital nomad. But I knew Vietnam would be my home when I got here, now Saigon is my home, where I work and live, but I still plan to motor bike across Asia, motovlog Vietnam, moto vlog South East Asia, dare I motorbike into China? And also fly around South East Asia, to tour and travel, But for now, this is my Vietnam life, my HCMC Saigon life, my expat life. I always thought living abroad would be scary, but it’s interesting and fulfilling. The food is amazing, the culture is fascinating and the people are friendly and welcoming. If you ever wanted to take the leap to travel and live abroad, Tourism in Vietnam is buzzing right now since Vietnam reopens. I am often asked: are Vietnam borders open? Yes indeed, tourism reopened in 2022. Want to know what I saw in Vietnam and my life in HCMC Saigon. What I think about Vietnam and traveling and living abroad? What to do in Vietnam? How do live in Asia? What to do in Saigon? How to work, or work as a teacher in Asia? How to get a visa or what a digital nomads life could be like in Asia or Vietnam? What is it like to be an Expat in Vietnam and South East Asia? I am an expat, a Saigon Vlogger, a HCMC vlogger, a moto vlogger, a lifestyle vlogger, a digital nomad resource, a Saigon nightlife vlogger, an immigrant, a migrant worker. I make vlogma videos, (wth is vlogma) I want a daily vlog, but ain’t got the time. But I can do a video diary, which makes me an online creator. Why anyone would watch vloggers as bad as me, I don’t know. Sometimes I make food vlogs, foodporn? Did you know yum in Vietnams mean “horn..”, well, neverminded. I hope you will feel encouraged by my channel. I will show you a lot of things like how to live abroad, how to be a digital nomad, how to work in Asia, how to experience Vietnam, how to make friends and build a life in Asia, how to enjoy the culture and food. How to be a gamer in Asia. How to live a life in Asia, like a normal person. How to be a happy person. I am not a Vietnam digital nomad in HCMC. But I know a few. Did you actually read all that? Tell me in the comments that you did and I will give you shoutout in my next video. Some keywords I like to include are: American Fast Food Overseas

Your food there looks better than the food here at McDees. You are even talking like a school teacher. Do your students watch your videos?

The Vietnamese football team has won against the Thai team, then Adam. Do you go to celebrate the victory with everyone?
Only thing good in states (my opinion) from McDs is the coffee…..best coffee better than Starbucks ….have it every day. Really enjoy your channel.

McGoing to McDonald’s in Vietnam? McSacrilegious!
Ps: omg the ketchup fails were hilarious 🤣
Found your channel and loving it. I'm also from Sac and think you are doing a great job on your channel! I love that you are blogging as an adoptive native vs being a tourist. Keep up the great work!
Hey Adam, would you recommend Vietnam? I always was in Thailand. It was the best! But I want to try something new. Thanks
shitty mcdonalds, no big tasty 😛 and FISH SAUCE? dude u've been there for too long XD hahahhahaha.
Hầu như đa số người Việt Nam đều không thích món này Adam . Cảm giác nó rất " ngán " .
Yeah. Asian we don’t like chickens breast. We mostly like dark meat. Drumbstick or thigh.
Viet kieu here from Honolulu here. Love that McDonald’s. Its super convenient and a good place to get my fix when I’m missing home. I’m always surprised at how many westerners are there.
Also want to say great content. I really enjoy seeing how well you have adapted and have picked up on nuances that I’m still not aware of.
Haven’t been back to Vietnam since the start of the pandemic. My daughter was born in Can Tho in late 2019. Hope to go again this year.
Is Burger King Good in Vietnam Adam
Great idea for a video. I usually try the native menu at McDonald’s in each country I visit.
They have a lot of things we don't have in our US Mcdonald's. But do they have the sausage egg Mcmuffin for breakfast? That's my favorite thing at McD's.
McDonald's thì rất ngon nhưng 1 năm ăn chắc được 1 lần thôi ạ. Vì nó hơi ngán .
You should of buy that Blondie a Bic Mac combo. 😆
They makes a twist even on McDonald lol.
Interestingly, so far Mcdonald's does not seem to be working well in Vietnam. Apparently, they had initially planned a rapid expansion in a number of cities but had to shelve these plans due to a lack of customers. Market analysts have commented that their prices are not competitive; Vietnamese don't like burgers and like to share their food. Another American venture, Subway did not do much better. As far as I know, there is one Subway restaurant left in the country -in Da Nang. I suppose they could not compete with the local Banh Mi. Cheers, OX
I love the whole cleaning after yourself while eating takeout. I do this aswell at any casual public space I eat at. I'm from NZ and it's common there however I live in Australia and don't see it enough here.
With all the food that Vietnam can offer and you choose McDonalds.
I heard Western fast food franchise is not doing very good in Vietnam due to tough competition to local Vietnamese foods, not sure is true?
I ate there a few times when I was in town. I thought the quality was much better than American McDonald’s.
Fancy N clean! mcd in MN is ok after seeing VN. I'm jelly lol. thanks for the video bro
So good to eat my favorite combo at this restaurant and will come there in future
That was a big McDonald’s Adam. Kinda cool. I’ll have to get Mai to eat with me while I’m there😊
she is such a good girl give her many gentle kissessss
Hey love your channel ….got my Ferrari tuned up right around the corner ….thank you again for the different perspective of another country …Seattle loves you man!
Now it used to be the saying ..two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles on a sesame seed bun….The Big Mac…but I prefer the 1/4 pounder
Thanks for sharing
Where is this place? Please add the address wherever you go so we can follow up. Thanks.
Why did i watch this? Now i want McCrap. Its Thursday so if you have the Mcdonalds app in Vietnam its buy one get one free burger day. Have to buy a burger combo then you get a free same burger. They changed it after covid used to just have to buy the burger and you get one free. I know because im a fat american.
Big Mac dude $?
Burger king was good as well
Big Mac translates to “one tenth of a pound beef” In Vietnamese 🤣
my girlfriend would always let me grab a large drink 🙂 that's why i love her
Wow.McDonald in vietnam is better than in usa..
Didnt even know they got a 24/7 mcdonald’s in Saigon!
Too bad i missed it ;( Thanks Adam 🙏🏻
Great channel and certainly helpful
Wait there’s a 24/7 mcdonalds in district 1? Bro I’m goin there at 12:00 it’s like 40 mins away anyways so😎 myth busters
Also I never knew that there was a McDonald’s that made food and used an elevator get it done?!?
Can't believe you're doing this video. McDonald's? With all the excellent food available in Vietnam you're eating that crap. Anybody out there requesting a video on this should be ignored. Sacrifice them! I'd rather eat at toys r us. Major league disappointment!👎😝
