So , do I have to queue at the china-line when I transit trough Beijing from germany??
is it required to have a (return ticket) to enter south korea?
I just purchased your airport, travel guide, thank you for all the GREAT information! Quick question, do you suggest buying a Sims card or the Wi-Fi egg? We will be going to Vietnam and Thailand as well. Thank you in advance.
Hi Megan, you noted COVID-19 testing upon entry isn’t currently required, however is there any vaccination requirements or obligation to report vaccination status?
My sincere thanks go out to you, Megan. I found your video really helpful. I just got back from Korea. I had no problem navigating Incheon International Airport. At the airport, we got our sim card. We didn't rent the Wifi because you can be connected pretty much everywhere, as you mentioned. Our accommodation was near all the places we wanted to go, so we used the bus or walk most of the time. You're right about the hotel isn't cold enough. Luckily, our hotel provided fan to use. I felt like our vacation wasn’t long enough so definitely we are going back. 👍🏼👍🏼🫶
Me: watching this whole thing even tho i know what to do 😂🩷 (this is Mil btw🫂)
i'll fly to Korea in 3 days to study there for one semester. The timing couldn't have been better!
leaving a comment because you said it help your channel and I want to support you
Trying to print the download I just purchased but it is locked?..
Just yesterday I went to you homepage to see if you had uploaded anything new. Basically, what I'm saying is that this video is due to my power of positive thinking.
Your welcome 🤪. As you may remember, this information is going to be very helpful to me in the not to distant future. As always … Thanks 👍😁
Hi Megan, Can i extend the 90 day limit by flying to japan on day 59 for 2 days and flying back for additional 90 day tourist stay?
Hooray! New video from Megan!!!!
❤😊❤😊❤
Hi Megan, We'll be traveling to Seoul in October from CA and would love to see your update on how to travel by taxi or subway from Inchon IAP to Seoul. Great content.
Wonderful job on providing images that provide context to what you are saying! Love your editing!❤❤
So Megan No Q code for quarantine?
Going to Korea in September from the US. Thank you so much for the updates!
Thanks for the tips!! I love your videos ❤ they are super helpful!!! 😊. Q: my friends and I are going to Korea for the first time coming from US at the end of Sept. We fly to Jeju with a layover at Seoul, but flying out of Gimpo to get to Jeju. Does Jeju require anything that you may know of that we’ll need prior to arrival? And another dumb question sorry, but am I safe to assume our check-in luggage will be transferred during that layover or do we need to grab it before we head to Gimpo and re-check it in again?
Thank you so much for this!!! We are going in October for the first time, I’m super excited and cannot wait! 🫰🏻
When I went in April they had JUST stop the KETA, after we had already paid for it. 😑 And then it was about 3 hours to get through customs. We were not given the form to fill out. We just saw them on the way. Me and another guy who was on my flight happened to grab one, because we didn't really know if we needed them or not. So grateful we did! After waiting a couple of hours I would have hated to have to go through that long line again! fun fun…. But that was really about the only truly awful part of my trip!
Hey Meg nice to hear from you. Thanks for the update info❤
Hi Megan, I arrived in Seoul 2 weeks ago. I knew I didn’t need K-eta or Q-Code, but I had both. I’m glad I did because all I had to do was show my passport to the official. No questions asked, just finger prints taken and then I just walked out and down to the train. No forms to complete on arrival. Others on my flight from Australia were madly completing the yellow health form. This is my second trip and has been challenging with the heat, but I have noticed a lot more tourists than were here 11 years ago.
Hi Megan can u tell how easy or difficult to get from ICN to Seoulite Inn
Hey, Megan! Thank you for a wonderful video. I am travelling to Seoul soon and I am very worried about the custom process. Are there any updates about the QR health declaration form?
❤❤❤❤❤
is it rude to America friend to ride taxi? my dumb friend want to trip here solo but airport to go Gangnam to 13hr lost. that happen I say plz ride taxi. than he said i want to experience to bus and subway. ok try but Gangname to go Hongdea to 15hr lost. he really want to save money but don't know how to use money dumb
A wizard is never late…Perfect timing! I'll be there in 2 weeks =)
Me and and my girlfriend took a 3 day trip to Fukuoka to extend my time in Korea after 90 days during a recent visit. When I admitted this to the US customs officer upon returning to the States, he was incredulous. Lecturing me about how you can't leave to go to Cancun and reenter the States to reset a tourist visa. Well, fortunately not every country is as restrictive as our customs is! Seriously, I have always found the South Korean customs people to be incredibly chill compared to US customs.
I've been there often recently. I do the q-code ahead of time each time. I still fill out the arrival card on the plane (just in case). But in my experience, the immigrations officers have never asked me for it in addition to scanning my q-code. They only took it from me on my first trip there (when quarantine was still a thing).
Megan is back!
Just a few remarks based on my experience over the last 10 years coming to Korea and very often recently. Do not bother to write in Hangeul your address, they do not seem to bother. I have never been asked any questions at the boarder why I am traveling to Korea. Maybe they do it for specific nationalities 😉
thanks for the "including Guam". Very much appreciated. we're planning on joining a group tour in October or November .
koreaaaaaaaa
Its nice they've simplified everything. I'm looking to visit in winter and anything that adds additional steps and friction steers me towards other countries.
Great video Megan!
No mention of the Q-code… but just read an advisory effective July 15, 2023 that it is no longer needed. Not sure though if it is just country specific.
Thanks for the video, really helpful as always. I would a love a future vid on the city terminal that's available at Seoul train station.
just to add, singapore passports are able to use the self automated machines too😊. i’m not sure about other countries passport holders and do not bring any fresh fruits/ produces even if it’s for own consumer or it will get confiscated 😅
why do people from ph and china have a separate line? will be traveling to korea in a few days and idk if we should apply for K-eta or what 😭
Hi Megan !
I rarely leave a comment but I just wanted to say you really helped me (and still are)!
I’ve been in Korea for a week now, and I’m leaving on the 4th of October.
I’m by myself for the first time, so I was really, really scared, but you helped me so much.
Took the subway for the first time and I watched your « master the subway » video like 7 times and I felt so confident after !😎
So I just wanted to say thank you for doing these kinds of videos, I’ve watched every single one of them and I really, reallyyyy appreciate the work that you do for us, and the way you explain things in a kind of funny way. I really love it!!!
I hope you’re feeling better, and have a wonderful day 🫶🏻
Is the Q-Code no longer necessary?
thank you so much for this video.😁
Hi Megan, love your videos. Do you know why if coming from The Philippines or China, they have a separate line? Thanks
Hi Megan. You mentioned a separate queue was there for passengers from the Philippines? Would you know why’s that the case? 🥹
Love the update!!! Niece just landed a couple of days ago
So even though KETA is not needed, I got it anyway. Should I still fill out the arrival card?
Hello Megan. I watched a lot of your videos before taking my trip in May 2023. Thanks for all the directions and advice. The only quirky thing that happened was actually in the US when trying to depart from Logan airport in Boston. Although I had already filled out the K-ETA, and was approved, Logan required I show them a hard copy. Of course, I left the hard copy at home because Korea didn't require it. I did have the screen shot on my phone but what a pain to email it to the luggage supervisor so he could print it off.
