  2. Wow! Two alcohol drinks in a video, that's so chill! Glad you are enjoying your day and I enjoyed the Nishiki market virtual tour! Love this market too. Mint chocolate is an acquired taste ๐Ÿ™‚ just saying! haha! Love it too!

  3. Another great video. I am glad that you have found jummy food while strolling along that famous Kyoto market place. It was certainly your pleasure to eat comfortabely and relaxed in the really neatly kept restaurants under AC. A little amount of sake and craft beer added to your happiness and best mood. Great idea to show us those tigny Kyoto streets with charming atmosphere. Night shots of Osaka around the station were also suprime. Take care due to typhoon and let it pass before your shinkansen ride back to Tokyo. Looking forward to next adventures. GAAOOO!

  4. A change from your usual Universal Studios, Disney etc. Appreciate it. As I said in my comment to your previous video, I understand why you do what you do, but really appreciate a change of scenery.

  5. ่ถ…ใƒคใƒใ„๐Ÿ˜ƒ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฆ๐ŸคAt 6:35 I only see Uni and not ๐ŸถSake๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ but Rion's different๐Ÿ˜‚ I used to buy Tatami slippers from Daiso and wears them at home and even in my office cubicleๆ‡ใ‹ใ—ใ„.19:25 I know the word for it ๐ŸคซMy house ้ขจ้ˆด rings too but no typhoon. There are different mint like spearmint or peppermint. The spearmint contains less menthol so taste is sweeter and subtle. OMG I just realised your ใ‚ใฃใกใ‚ƒ็พŽๅ‘ณใ—ใhoodie is out!!๐Ÿ˜ใŠใŠใใซRion

Thank you so much for Rionโ€™s Street Foods Tour at Kyoto Nishiki Market video, watching all kinds of food is irresistible ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿค.

  9. Hi Rion another great video to add to your list of eating walking adventures. I totally got jealous of you eating my favourite flavour of mint ice that looked delicious but funny how you then found a super parfait after you had the other ice oh well Always next time to try it . Rion do you have an view's on the price increase of 70 %for the jr rail pass.

  10. Now, anytime I'm outside and it's nice I think to myself "what a beautiful day!" I hear it in Rions voice in my head ๐Ÿ˜‚.

  11. wow Jalapeni beeing to spicy for you oO?
I do know someone with some kind of disorter who also says bellpepper is to spicy but for someone withouth this …
My GF uses Jalapeno when she wants something not spicy as we usually use Habanero and Reaper chili most of the time when cooking ^^

Then again I can't eat mint …. for me this is so disgusting that it almost makes me puke …. kinda sucks that stuff like mouth wash always has mint taste ;(

  12. When I went to Nishiki Market, it was specifically to visit Aritsugu, an 18th generation knife shop which was founded in 1560. I bought a chef's knife there which I use regularly. If you ever go there, make sure you bring cash, since they don't (or didn't a few years ago) accept cards.

  13. Hello,
Love watching your videos. We're currently in Osaka and will check out some of the places in your video.

  14. love osaka so much. unfortunately, can't say the same for kyoto. the last time i was there for a day trip we left earlier than scheduled. too bad the ktc tools museum isn't open on sundays, even so we can't buy tools for souvenirs.

  16. If we bought food from other shops as well, can we eat everything in this shop, together with the prawns ?

  17. Itโ€™s like Iโ€™m re-watching my trip!
I ate at the place where you had sake and had the wagyu gyoza at the other. Love Nishiki Market.
The vendor who roasts Hojicha is phenomenal.
And my kids dropped some serious cash at the Gachapon place.
I took that train a few times as well!

    Thank you so much Rion!!

  18. Rion, are you planning to do any walking tours? ๐Ÿ™‚I think that would be a fun idea. I would certainly appreciate something like that for my next trip to Japan!

  19. We are going to Kyoto soon and definitely will go visit Nishiki Market after seeing this video!!! Thanks for the sharing! โ˜บ

  20. Hey Rion, long time subscriber. Just wanted to wish you well, and I hope you and your family stay dry and comfortable through the typhoon. Best of luck!

  21. Rion of all the Japanese vloggers i think you are the BEST keep up the great work

  22. Just say Mahal ko kayo! Filipino sa gawapong gangyan sisikat ka๐Ÿ˜Špero pinag mamalake mo Ang Bansa mo Muna Bago Ang iba I am so so so proud of you๐Ÿ˜Škeep it up

  23. Minsan Ang boring I am not a vlogger pero Ang boring Sana I edit mo mo mga highlights mo sa vid.but I am still following u Ang godbless๐Ÿ˜Š

  24. Thanks for sharing Nishiki Market with us! It's so fun to see all the food~ Personally, I like exploring the side streets. They tend to be quieter and sometimes you can find interesting things. Like the old sewing machine just sticking out on a ledge. I'm not a big fan of mint, so I avoid it.
Small rant about getting cash abroad: Years ago, most American banks allowed you to use a debit card at ATMs abroad without an additional fee. Now only a few banks offer that, mine doesn't, so I have to order (pre-purchase) foreign currency to get a decent rate. Kind of a hassle >.<

  25. I love the adventure! So relaxing to watch after a long day. The gatchapons were super cute, especially the usagi ones. You should have gotten one since it brings back such good memories of your childhood. Please be safe during the typhoon and rest up. I'm estatic to see you are enjoying filming and your confidence blooming with each video ๐Ÿ˜ŠLet's keep walking! Keep it up. 150k subs!!! I'm rooting for you, Rion ๐ŸŽ‰

  26. Haha, seeing that shooting game again & again, I think itโ€™s a signโ€ฆ for you to make a video about it. ๐Ÿ˜ I didnโ€™t like mint at all growing up (and the only toothpaste flavor my parents would get was peppermint ๐Ÿ˜ซ), but after I tried the American Girl Scout cookies โ€œThin Mints,โ€ chocolate & mint is the perfect combo! ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ’š But yea, I never ate the actual mint leaf. Itโ€™s usually just a garnish/decoration. ๐Ÿ˜Š
