毎年夏に開催される蒲郡納涼花火大会。水上スターマインなど海の町蒲郡の特色を生かした様々な花火が打ち上がり、特に今年の花火大会では太平洋岸では最大級となる正三尺玉が３発も打ち上げられ、竹島の夜空を美しく彩りました。
The Gamagori Fireworks Festival is held in the end of July, attracting thousands of visitors. The highlight of the Fireworks Festival is the Sho―Sanshakudama fireworks (3-foot-diameter shell fireworks), which weights around 200kg. Sho-Sanshakudama expands 650m in diameter when launched. This is the largest firework on the Pacific Coast of Japan and 3 of these fireworks are launched in one night.
