Hey there! We’re Nick and Terysa and we’ve become completely obsessed with the idea of sailing around the world and sharing our experiences and information through our sailing lifestyle videos with others.

We met travelling around India, and quickly agreed that rather than “settling down” and doing what most normal people do, we wanted to travel and adventure instead and started our sailing lifestyle adventure stories, since then, we’ve been working hard towards achieving our dreams, and now we’re finally living them as sailing cruising lifestyle!

  1. Welcome back Terysa. We all get burned out from time to time and it's good to get away foe a while. Now that you're back I'm really looking forward to your review of the headroom in the bedroom situation. ; – )

  2. Well I’m not a doctor but many in my family are health professionals, and pretty sure any doctor would say your suffering from depression. It’s not fun. I sincerely hope with Nick, your determination , and RR II; this ailment can be put behind you-please enjoy the rest of your life! Cheers

  3. Welcome back! So happy to see you. (I wasn't interested in the minutia of the boat build either) Your phone takes beautiful color video by the way!

  4. -Kidnapped by pirates
    -Had triplets
-Left, by Nick, on some deserted island, where you ended up becoming queen of the indigenous people.
… my theories weren't even close

  5. Please, let's get some perspective.

    First world problems.

Millions live in poverty, homeless, and starvation. You need to focus on service to others.

  6. HI Terysa. We're also at Ocean Marina, about to do handover in the next few weeks. Congratulations on a brilliant video – so articulate and relatable. Would love to say a quick hi in person if you have a minute sometime in the next week or so. Margy

  7. Hay Teresa, grate to see you back. Tbh, I thought you were away earning some cruising $$$. Never once thought there could be something wrong. How ever, so sorry to hear that you had to go through all of that. That's terrible. But on a brighter note. Your back, you look freshly charged & ready for the next chapter. So with all that said, I look forward to the next chapter & seeing you both together on your beautiful new boat. (Can't wait). Keep up the good work. SV Kiwi Lady Opua Bay of islands New Zealand 👍🏿

  8. Nick you did such a great job documenting the build! If I was in your position I would want to oversee the build of my future home. I’m sorry, but when you’re given lemons you make lemonade , or when it gets tuff! The tuff gets going (Theresa) You’re blessed beyond your wildest dreams! Just don’t understand this rant! Just excuses for your poor behavior! Luckily Nick keep me interested in “HIS” build !

  9. Was I the only one who thought all through this video that Terysa was going to say "so Nick and I have decided to split up". Thank goodness you didn't, can't wait to see you both back on the water.

  10. Teresa I see what you have been living looking at your eyes in the video, eyes that a couple of years ago smiled and never did it in this video, even when your mouth smiles, I se it looking at the side of your eyes where the traces of your past feelings are impressed in the skin, I see how it has been harsh and hard for you, beyond the words you use to disclose your private life to us.
I really wish, I almost sure that if will happen, that soon the moment will come when you will take a deep breath and suddenly know that finally it is really over, that your boat has turned the buoy and the course is clear. You are a wonderful person, be strong, be just, be yourself.

  11. Thanks for sharing any construction process is stressful. Cannot wait to see you living on the new boat.

  12. Welcome back Tereysa!!! Nick did a good job showing us the technicals of RR2 and Vietnam. Excited to see your fresh take on future adventures and videos. Fair winds and following seas from here on out.

  13. I am glad you are back if I had to watch one more film about the boat build I was ready to kill myself 😭😭

  14. Welcome back Terysa (man, did I spell that right? Been so long). Glad you've been able to get some perspective and decompress. I have seen other people on patreon be chewed on by the press of content demand, youtube much the same. Ultimately we want to experience your best life through your lense and watching you guys suffer is not "fun" in any sense. Remember we all want to live your fun and if you aren't having it, it will show. TBH, as much as you say Nick is enjoying it, I have seen he's not having all the fun you seem to imply he was. IE I think he wants to be on the water as well and as much fun as the boat build is in some respects for Nick, its not all its cracked up to be. Love you guys, keep finding the pockets of fun and focus on those, we'll get along fine on this side of the lens as you go.

    Thanks!

  15. Take the people trying to give you grief with a grain of salt. You are your own person and as long as you and your husband make the decision together, you two live your life in a way that makes you both happy and healthy! If you were not feeling staying there, then you made the right choice and took a break! Glad you are healthy and ready to get back to the boat!

  16. Talk about ramble! But, anyone home ported in England or Australia must really be stressed out. It must be really difficult seeing your country go down the drain.

  17. I'm back 2, I have been away for approx a year and a half. A career change working full time and studying full-time. Then dealing with 2 terminally ill parents on top of it. It took guts to sit in front of the camera like that. I had no idea you were as passionate about the camera and the content as that, I will appreciate the content even more now. I smiled as I remember one of your comments in the distant past about Nicks potty mouth off camera. Yet he comes across as Saint Nick on camera with his "Buffed body" of course (Nicks words) perhaps this is your editing prowess. I have another year of maths exams to plow through but will be staying up to date with your channel. I hope you both bond well with the new boat and teething issues are minimal..
The world we once knew has changed radically in a very short time and I believe a lot more to come yet. This why the radical changes I have made in my life. I have always wanted to do what you guys are doing and you give me hope. I refuse to be vaccinated so this greatly reduces my options. So for now I'll have to just keep watching.
    Thanks and fair winds. Ken

  18. Sorry. I got about halfway through, and I realize that no matter what the news was. It wasn’t gonna be worth the build up. Take care.

  19. I am sorry to have missed you at Ocean Marina. I went there on the morning of the 12th but you had left. Enjoy the sail.

  20. I stopped watching after the first few build videos. Love your guys sailing content but the build was depressing to watch. I can’t imagine living it and having to have your life on hold so long. I wouldn’t wanna be stuck in Vietnam for 2 entire years! The point of traveling is to move on to the next place.

  21. I am glad you are back, thank your for your honesty. I know what you been. I am happy you are back. very best wishes to you both Safe Sailing.

  22. I can see your pain on your face still, and I know I would have struggled to cope too. I am wishing you every happiness moving forward. Love to you,

  23. You are weak as women generally are. Your man is strong and will guide you if you submit to his leadership.
