  1. This video has been very helpful with helping me find cheap airfares. I was getting discouraged and thinking that I would have to book a flight so far out into the future, even if I have to book four or five months out, that’s reasonable for me. I really liked google flights. I plan to go to Thailand in a few months. Thank you for this video.

  2. I tried the 2 one way thing for our latest flights and it wasn't cheaper. But what I did end up doing was 2 round trips a day apart. That's saved us a thousand bucks. Check all sorts of ways to book your flights.

  3. Do you suggest travel ins ? What happens if w need to change the date for some reason?? Thx so much!!

  4. I have visited 10 countries since November 2022 not one of the sites helped. Google was good because you could learn about obscure or smaller airlines but it was always cheaper and in my opinion safer if there was a problem to go directly to the airline. The cheaper ones that you find on these sites sometimes have insane layovers either super short or super long. A multicarrier flight is a disaster waiting to happen! Don’t forget if you have a problem with your ticket you have a problem with your ticket because there is absolutely nobody to talk to you on any of these sites ever! I’m a world Traveller and I warn you go directly to the airline.

  5. Wowzer! These are great tips about these websites. I'm embarassed to admit it but I have so many points stacked up on Spirit, it's my default airline.

  6. Hello there, thanks for the tips. I am planning a trip to Paris & Italy this year. I was thinking one way ticket from LA to Paris and One way from Italy to LA or viceversa. To the best of your knowledge what airline would you advise to book with?

  7. Just subscribed to your channel im look for a good prices flight to Charlotte North Carolina this September

  8. My experience with Kayak and Google Flights. With both you end up with a list of links that show you which is the cheapest fare for the journey you are planning and of course from that list you pick the cheapest and try to book with them. I tried several times for 24 hours each time getting to the part where you put all your credit card details in and confirm the booking only to be told something had gone wrong and I should try again. Eventually chatted with a representative who told me that fare was no longer available but he could do it for over two hundred pounds more. So I tried another one on the list, this one took me all the way but said my booking wasn't confirmed. Some time later I received a call and was told that fare was no longer available but that for 800 pounds more they could book the ticket. I refused and was told to hold on and they came back with 200 pounds off each leg meaning that it was now only going to be 400 pounds higher than the price that Google Flights and Kayak had originally attracted me to that site. From my experience these people are pitching their fares deliberately low so that Kayak and Google show them as the best but when you try to book that fare is no longer available.

  9. Any thoughts or experience with Airwander?

  11. Does Google flights still work in Canada? I've looked it up and it seems to work but it says it's shut down everywhere but the U.S.

  12. I just found your channel and it’s awesome!
I love that you announce what your next video would be, or a very important related video, but just a friendly suggestion to provide a link to them to be able to find them easier. Took me a few steps to find the other videos you referred to. Please keep up the great work, I already learned so much from 3 of your awesome videos πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
