  1. This is my tribute to the late Anthony Bourdain. It was surreal to encounter all these people and places, retracing his footsteps and putting together the story of what happened AFTER the TV broadcast. It would be awesome if other food youtubers did the same. Trevor in Chengdu, Mark in Bangkok and so on. Hope you liked it.

We've listed all the restaurants and their info in the description box so you can easily visit next time you're in town.

Next time you're in Vietnam, hit up Onetrip for an amazing food or adventure tour: https://www.christinas.vn/onetrip/saigon/

Let me know if you liked this style of video. We can follow up with other restaurants Bourdain visited in Vietnam.

  2. Please if can do a list with name of all the places he visited in Vietnam, we really appreciate it, I want to go to Vietnam and visit and eat in all those places

  3. When i visited vietnam, I did my best to eat at every place anthony went to; the Lunch Lady was amazing. Best bowl I have ever had, bar none.

  4. I still watch Anthony's episodes every night to this day. Vietnam was some of my favorite episodes. Never gets old…

  5. of all the celebrity deaths these last few years, Anthony Bourdain's is really the only one that affected me. God I miss that guy, i still bring myself to watch his shows without crying

  8. A very touching tribute to Anthony. Loved the world over by ordinary people, poor people who changed his way of thinking about food.

  9. Appreciations for sharing this. Anthony Bourdain was a bit of true magic and truth. His nature always came through with his shows and his writings. Humble & honest & filled with real candor. Again, thank you very much.

  10. I was able to eat there with my parents and my own family and siblings family there (the lunch lady).
My father served in Vietnam in 1965-68.

It was closure and the lunch lady and
my father conversed for a little bit. He speaks Vietnamese. Hello from the 90803

  11. Great job Sonny I didn't even know you did a tribute to him. There was something about him like he was a rock star instead of a chef. He had a humbleness about him that automatically drew me to his shows.

  12. Thank you very much for showcasing Mr. Bourdain and his food travels. I am a huge fan of his and I do miss him even though I didn't know him. I felt like I did because I was and are still an avid viewer of his shows. You tribute is wonderful and appreciated! And you guys now have a new subscriber as well and yes, a follow up of the restaurants he visited would be awesome if possible. Be well, be safe and Cheers!!

  13. Anthony is planting rice paddies in a beautiful Vietnamese countryside Waiting for his daughter. That's how I like to picture him.

  14. Anthony touched so many lives in his travels, and he was a humble and respectful and beautiful human being. You are missed, Tony!
