Disney World VS Universal Studios AGAIN?! This time we are putting their paid “Skip the line” services head to head to see which one is REALLY worth all of that dough! Emma and Quincy have split up to decide which one you should purchase next time you’re visiting the parks!

When are we going to see the 4 seasons video in the channel
I'm rooting for Walt Disney World, but I think the Universal Studios in Florida has better skip the line options. I hope I'm wrong, but I guess we'll see in tomorrow's video.
Hi
Even though Genie+ is cheaper, the Unlimited Express Pass is so much easier. You can guess that the weight time is 1/2 the standby line or less. And you get it for free at the Premiere Hotel.
Evening is best for Hagrids. We wait around 30-45 mins every time
Video of what each of you eat at every park with Quincy no dairy, Breedlove vegan, and maybe fry bucket off the kids menu?
Not fair to compare a $135 service vs a $35 service. Per person! That is a $400 difference for a family of 4. That is a massive difference. Per Day! So $800 difference for 2 days. It almost costs the same to get Genie+ for all 4 WDW parks as it does for Express Pass for 1 Universal park. Think about that. We're happy with Genie+. And just love Disney parks more than Universal.
Video idea- How many times can you ride the more popular rides over and over again? For people who this trip is their only time visiting ever so want to ride some of the big rides over and over again. Biggest misstep of Genie+ is that you can only book each ride once. Would love to see your team tackle this! It always seems to go over riding each ride once but not rides multiple times in a day!
I wish Emma would have said when she did use a lightning lane and when she didn't. Listing all the rides under the Genie Plus image makes it seem like she did all of those with Genie
Love your videos but have a question about Universal Express. How many Universal Expresses do you get for free when you stay at the hotels? One per party/ one per person in the room?
I'm really curious to see how Universal express changes once Epic Universe opens. Will there be a three park pass? Will they shift more to a lower price/more purchasers model like Genie+, a mix of the two?
Express passes are likely priced purely for the hotels. Having people on property and not at Disney will make the Revenue Per Guest shoot up. My guess is they price it so people see it as 'cheaper' for the premium hotel. Sure folks do buy it too, but it will be designed to convince those behavioural economics. For Disney they already have the confidence that people will be on property so their RpG comes from tapping into the more casual guests visiting more regularly.
Would love to see All Ears try the Universal VIP tour.
Your Cabana Bay review had me thinking that was the perfect hotel for us. Now you have me looking at one or two nights at a premier hotel for the express pass. 🙄🤣
I was able to buy genie plus 2 months in advance when i bought my park tickets
A bit of a "how the sausage is made" question, but were Quincy and Emma really filming on the same day? Seems like a crazy waste of budget to have the potential of two full days of universal unlimited for 4 adults with the hotel stay and only send Quincy and everybody else is at MK…
No comparison Universal all the way. I am not spending a fortune on vacation to stress myself out fiddling around for a time to ride a ride once. Give Universal and a relaxing enjoyable day. At least Universal provides a perk for staying at a premium hotel. At Disney you can pay over 1,000.oo per night and you get nothing.
I really wish Disney would do the same. Stay at a deluxe hotel and have a true Unlimited Express Pass. Genie plus is ridiculous.
What did the actual cost per rides ridden work out to? Please excuse my math, but if I calculated it correctly (minus the $11 for 7 dwarfs) Emma only paid $2/ride while Quincy paid $7.90/ride… even with 7 dwarfs (assuming she rides it) that’s only $2.70/ride… I don’t know if I feel the less hassle is worth $5 / ride. What are the team’s thoughts?
I just found your videos, love them alot. ❓ Can you have someone hop on a mobility scooter and show how to wait in line ups for rides and also hopping on busses and monarail as well as the skyline. I am 65 years old going in Jan 2024 and no one actually shows a day in the life with a mobility scooter. They talk about it but do not show it.
Thank-you
Tars
when are we going to see trapped in magic kingdom video?
5x the cost.. theyre not really comparable
No contest, Universal’s EP is waaaayyyy better and easier to use
I think it totally depends on what rides you like because of motion sickness there are not as many rides I ride in Universal so not as worth it
Halfway into the video and I dont see any compassion with how to actually use Genie and EP. I think the time on your phone is a big point to make when finding lines, booking rides and cool down time (esp Genie).
I'd be curious to see a total newbie use both services since a lot of people might not do a deep dive when they buy these services.
Best advice from Emma: “Don’t buy Genie+ if you don’t understand how to use it”
Universal all the way!!!
I’m confused why so many people find genie+ to be super confusing. It’s really not that hard. Universal is not fun if you’re poo sized. I can’t fit into any of the rollercoasters and everything else is screens and simulators
Quincy's sunglasses literally look like 3d glasses on a simulator ride haha
Premier Annual Passes for Universal always have early entry.
G+ sucks. To get lightning lanes you want, you have to get up a 7AM and you STILL might not get them. You have no idea what the cost will be till your visit. Notice she crisscrossed the park a lot. You are always on your phone during your vaca. Etc. Then switching parks, you have to go through the apps and do some clicking here and there, etc. The whole G+ is a nightmare for norms. Last time I went to Universal, their system crashed but because I had my card in my lanyard, they just looked at it and passed me through the line, did not disrupt it at all, which would not be the case with G+. And as she said, their resort to get the line skip for free is about the price of a moderate at WDW, very reasonable, plus you get early entry.
I want to know step counts from this challenge! There's way less weaving back and forth all around Universal and I think that's a big factor in things like this
This is not a fair comparison. Do it with a family. Universal Fast Pass for the WIN! Disney is exhausting and STRESSFUL!
Whoa. Minions Blast opens on my birthday? Well, another thing to add to the list. I get Disney and Universal things on my birthday.
We are ride lappers. I am also a unlimited fast track user at my local home park Hersheypark. It is expensive but worth its weight in gold not to have to stand in a 1hr+ long line in summer heat or holiday crowds. I will always pay for the convenience and the convenience is MUCH better when I can lap rides. I feel like if Disney offered unlimited ILLs for their top ticket attractions at each park, TRON, Guardians, Rise, and FOP, they could charge $50-70 per person to ride those rides unlimited for a day, and I’d pay it.
2:12 places that force you to put your possessions in a locker just to ride will never get my business
We want to test this out next time we're able to go to both! I'm sure both have their own pros and cons!
