We have finally made it to the Isaan region of Thailand! Isaan food is one of our favorite cuisines and has been ever since we ate lots of it at Thai restaurants in NYC. In this first episode of our Isaan Thailand series, we are in Nakhon Ratchasima aka Korat, which is often known as the gateway to Isaan. Korat has some massive night markets that are full of delicious Isaan Thai street food. We visit three of the biggest night markets in Korat for some unique Isan dishes.

Street food in Korat. Korat Thailand. Nakhon Ratchasima. Street Food in Thailand. Biggest Market in Korat. Korat Street Food. Korat Tour. Isan Tour. Isaan food. Thailand Korat. Thailand Street Food. Isaan Thai food.

  1. Thank you for sharing your travel journey to Isaan! Never heard of this part of Thailand before and got me googling about this place already. I wonder when we, Malaysians can travel again. Things are not looking great here 😭 Poor baby shrimps 😭 I don’t take I will be able to eat them looking at them trying to escape. Did Jumi tried the dish? Take care guys! ❤️

  2. Grilled chicken from the first night market, looks amazing!
I can see they grilled it perfectly. Look at the colour 😍

  3. The traditional grilled cake you guys tried, made us want to try it as well.
    Isaan's arepa, that's a good description 👍.
I hope we can find it here. There are a couple of Isaan restaurants here in Melb, need to look for one if they have it.

  4. That dancing shrimp salad, oh man!! That's insane. Haha so funky!
So the shrimps were literally still alive when they mixed them with the salad.
So fascinating, I want to try but I know I will be nervous eating it too. Haha.
Good job guys on finding this delicacy. It's one of a kind 👏

  5. Watching this video makes us want to visit Thailand again and visit the night markets.
We love Thai night markets, it's spacious and so many food to choose from.
Love that we are always overwhelmed with the food options. haha

  6. Wow!!! what a huge food playground. Although, there are all kind of weird food but some looks healthy too, like the fresh dancing shrimp salad. What an amazing place..

  7. Love a good night market and can only imagine how amazing they must be over there. Grilled meats would be our first choice too.

  8. Yes. The dried mango is the healthy version of the fruit rollups. Right on with that shuttle. These guys have the right idea, especially for people who are too full to walk. Haha

  9. That steamed fish almost looks like a crab cake. Would totally eat that. Not sure about the snails though. 🙂 We would need a few beers before attempting that.

  10. That terrace is so perfect for vlogging too. Oh wow, you guys are quite brave with the dancing shrimp salad. It reminds us of the live octopus is Korea.

  11. That chicken made me think about frog legs in Croatia, must smell delicious grilled in the charcoal.
That street market does look quite different, wow even a shuttle.
Love that egg roll, and I was going to say similar to arepa.

  12. We just ate lunch not too long ago, but all this footage with so many options of food is opening my appetite again.
Nice building, I wonder if before Covid that place is so packed that you can't find seating easily.

  13. The montage you compiled it well. This is View generator haha! I'm sure i haven't seen this. not in your way of presentation. Wonderful! Keep it up. Let's meet more frequent!
