4K | Experience Japanese-style Malaysian Hospitality in a Dated But Cozy Airbus A330 from KIX to KUL

In this trip report, we take you on the journey to discover Malaysia Airline Economy Class from Kansai International Airport (KIX) on an Airbus A330-300 (MH53) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Starting our trip from Namba station, we take the Nankai Rapi:t straight to Kansai Airport. This is the fastest and most convenient way to get to Kansai Airport from Namba – in under 35 minutes!

The airside departure area at Kansai International Airport may not be the most attractive but do join us on a quick tour of the Asuka Lounge, a partner lounge utilised by several airlines. Then we’ll take a short stroll to spot some planes before boarding.

This is my first flight with Malaysia Airline and although the aircraft felt a bit dated, the overall experience was pleasant especially considering it was a quiet flight.
