  1. I would throw in Kagoshima. Worth a visit. Food, Nature and fun Things to do. From Kagoshima you can visit all the breathtaking Islands without hustle like yakushima, amami oshima, yoron or even Okinawa. Just Take the ferry or the plane

  2. Osaka, literally called the Kitchen of Japan by Japanese people. Not only because of the streetfood, no also because okonomiyaki and food in General. Dude worships tokyo food because of one dish, Ramen. Wich is even better in Hokkaido and Fukuoka. 🤷‍♂️

  3. Tokyo very much sleeps. Its extremely quiet after the last train and even Roppongi and Shinjuku that have some night life really aren't that busy. Osaka is fun with a group of friends and the people are great but its somewhere that after a few days I'm good, I've had enough. Tokyo has an unending amount of stuff to do and it would be hard to even consider it a single city, it feels more like a collection of cities and towns each different from each other under the wider banner of Tokyo.

  4. Even though I'm a foodie that really entices me to Tokyo, I'd have to go with Osaka- it feels like it'd be a more holistic experience, with the melding of city nightlife and calming, and impressive nature and history 🙂
