Takoyaki is one of my favorite Japanese street foods. Steaming hot chunks of octopus inside a soft, hot batter and covered in sauce make the perfect snack. It looks very easy to make too. At least, that’s what I thought from watching the professionals cook it. When I tried to make it myself though, I discovered it wasn’t easy at all!
