At 3,776m in elevation, Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. At its foot lies the famous Aokigahara sea of trees, where in the back it appears dim even in the daytime.
(Mt. Fuji was added to the World Heritage list in June, 2013.)

その麓には昼間でも奥に入ると薄暗い青木ヶ原樹海があります。
