During a trip to Sapporo, I could not resist making a trip to the famous Nijo Seafood market. It was fun to explore all the unique varieties of seafoods and produce here; from giant king crabs, to the most perfect looking (though pricey) pieces of fruits and melons. But what happens if you can’t take home any of the items? The next best thing is a meal at the market with a chirashi bowl with all the varieties of seafoods from the market.
But it gets better because right across the market was a rather unique buffet! It’s a dessert buffet themed rather whimsically. I’m not sure what I’m in store for, but it would be fun to find out!

Wow this is a Japanese seafood paradise 🦞 🍢 🦀 thank you good sir @TimLeeLetsGo
GREAT VIDEO THANKS
Thank you Tim for taking us along!
Wow Tim this seems like such a fun trip! The seafood rice bowl looked so tasty and fun, along with the lovely miso soup. What an awesome spread of desserts!
Aren't you supposed to consume the sashimi as a complete piece rather than biting it into smaller parts?
Another beautiful video. Thank you so much Tim Lee🧐👏🆒👍🏻🤩
Wow everything always looks delicious in Japan! Was wondering if anything bothers your stomach? Can you drink the water there??? 😊😊😊
Love the theme of the dessert buffet. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is one of my favorite books. The movie is good too. I don't eat many sweets now but would have totally enjoyed that buffet. I could eat my weight in ice cream. My favorite! What is your favorite dessert? Hello from Willamette Valley Oregon that now feels like a desert. Ha, ha.
That seemed so fun!
so you called the sea urchin… eel… it's fine it's fine just fine… it was a good looking bowl but would have been better if there actually was some eel in that bowl 🙂 …man I haven't had grilled or roasted eel in a very long time. desert buffet my kind of buffet i mentioned that I thought there was one in Tokyo but maybe it was this one i heard about or there are many which there should be.. 😁
Your Japan videos have been great! I’m so sorry but I’m so curious, why all of the Coke shirts? Really just curious, lol!
Always enjoy your videos! But I noticed most people had their masks on at the buffet table except for you…… I think it's best to respect their rules and culture, especially when you film and talk over the food…… 😅
Thanks Tim for sharing another fantastic food place in Japan!! You seem to find the locations that other food vloggers miss.
Enjoyed the video immensely!! 🤓🤓
Also, unagi = eel. Uni = sea urchin. Just thought you'd like to know. 🤓🤓🙌🙌
Tim, you took one for the team eating at Alice's sweets buffet! I would have skipped it since I love all the seafood & savory foods more than desserts. Thanks so much for sharing your foodie adventures with us. Love and hugs to you. 😘❤️🤗
So sweet of you to take us along as you sampled these sweet treats. I was salivating over the luscious cakes and the ice cream looked wonderful. I always enjoy sharing a meal with you. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻
Tim your.vidios make me smile even in the hospital I can get away for awhile. 👍💙💞
My kids would ♥this buffet 😄not bad for $13 😅thanks Tim !
cheap
The dessert buffet was really nice they need that in Las Vegas. But to be honest with you Tim I definitely think that America and Europe makes much better deserts than anywhere in Asia.
Tim:
A suggestion for common courtesy:
Learn simple, basic words of the countries you visit.
Don't ALWAYS say: 'Thank You' (in English).
That's akin to a Japanese visiting NYC saying: 'Arigato-Gozai Masu'.
You'll be surprised how much you'll be appreciated for making an effort.
I would probably just go for the desserts…lol. Very unique experience and worth trying!
Aw, I feel you could've really enjoyed the buffet more if you hadn't spoiled the meal at the market before.. Nonetheless the Alice in Wonderland theme was wonderful (get it?) and it was so interesting to see you at a dessert place as the king of "not too sweet!" compliments! 😅💕
I'm surprised they had all that spaghetti, chicken, omelette rice and pizza (regular lunch/dinner items etc) at a dessert buffet! (But that strawberry shortcake looked SO SO good – strawberry shortcake is my FAVORITE thing in the whole world!)
at 2:11 that was one tiny beer, lol. also, i am looking forward to the seafood, but i had to pause to comment first. your audio i still odd at times, kind of digital sounding.
You had a bowl of ramen first. And later went to the Nijo Fish Market getting a bowl of seafood with rice, and miso soup. The desserts buffet was awesome 👏🏼
Try out Ebisoba Ichigen…one of the best ramen's that I've tried in Sapporo. Shrimp based ramen.
I really look forward to your videos Tim, they are so great to watch. The food looks so tasty, the dessert even better haha. Awesome video
Lol…I always wonder how you are able to eat so much👍😉
We love your video's!!👍😊
Excited about a Asian Desert buffet? In the seafood Market of Japan, really weird.
These young people have google and they still are too lazy too find out where there seafood comes from.
1st time being served a head on shrimp? Imagine being outside the Nijo Fish Market and spending your time at a eating a cake?
Hi Tim was just thinking about you so good to see this new video! That chirashi sushi bowl looked so delicious omg!!
Heeeeey Sweet Tim! 👌🏿❤
For $13, I'd come here just to eat dessert after dinner. Also love how Tim was the only dude in the whole place, it was definitely a buffet catered towards women haha
Scrumptious desserts. Cheers.
i'm not sure about the nijo fish market's sashimi like the uni…like it's raw and it's on top of the ice the entire day…not sure if that could keep it cold enough to be safe for being eaten raw.
Hey Tim I love your videos. Would it be possible to have some clips where we can hear the sounds of the environment? It makes it feel like I'm there when I hear it.
Japan has so many food that Canada don’t have
