In this annual video, we analyze in detail the effects of the tsunami in the area of Matsushima Bay, where the agglomerations of Shiogama and Tagayo are located. The tsunami here had a very different behavior compared to other areas, which was determined by the characteristics of the coast and other factors. Learn more in the new video. The video is of an educational nature and therefore the purposeful shots of destruction are not shown here, but only the illustrative and informative form. Great analysis and well done orienting the viewer to the larger context of the videos taken. Keep it up!
7:57 Unfortunately the people in that black car died. The tsunami flipped it upside down a little further down and pinned the car up against the shopping mall.
The shrine in the opening shot is Mitake shrine on Oshima island in Kesennuma Miyagi. Rikuzentakata and Minamisanriku were nearly obliterated
Thank you for creating these vids to help us understand why the tsunami hit some places so hard, and others quite "lightly". I'll be sure to look for the one on Sendai.
I remember seeing fleeing Kappa – both dark and light, from the advancing water, visible in several helicopter shots. Same thing in the school yard in Kesennuma (sp?). For those who pay attention, it gives proof of different forms of spiritual beings – good and bad.
Sincere respect to the Japanese people for their rebuilding efforts. R.I.P. to all of the deceased, same for those in the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004. 🙏
Your shakey video effect is not required.
What happens when the next tsunami wave is over a mile high? Because it's damn sure coming.
I am expecting your videos about the studies under the water sea (Tokoju) with the effects in the trench with the plate boundary (Is true that 1 meter under the level the plate fell?) and how the deep of the sea bed affected the altitude of the waves of the Tsunami (Should will be calculated the alttitude of the walls to protect the Ports with these studies ?).
Vas kanal je moc zajimavy.
Wouldn't Sandy Beach area be the result of past tsunamis?
4:53 but if the islands have icreased their defenses, doesn't they mean the energy that would be deposited in the islands from a tsunami will instead be directed to the mainland?
